I'm disgusted with Stoke. How can a team have so little pride as to put in a performance like that the moment they're safe from the drop? Arnautovic' penalty miss was so ghastly you have to wonder if he was even taking it seriously. Can't have any respect for them.

Looks like Chelski are doing the same. Was hoping that they would be strong and not give Spurs a sniff. There'll be even more confident if they roll them over for next week.

We never were going to be able to rely on other teams for safety.

True, but the performances of Stoke and Watford today were shambolic. A win against Burnley next Saturday should relieve any anxiety about our survival, anything other points will be a bonus.

I don't know about Brighton coming for us (they may not need to bother), but Hull and Swansea certainly are.

After today, we'll be 4 points clear for the drop, with a vastly superior goal difference and games in hand. If we lose to both Liverpool and Spurs - even badly - we'll go into next weekend 4 points clear of the drop, with a vastly superior goal difference.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

We have been fortunate in terms of other results in recent weeks so this was inevitable. Also, since we play after, surely this will give us a greater kick up the arse to remind our players that we're still not safe compared to if we played before/at the same time? 4pts clear still and 2 games in hand...

Means precious little when one is battling the drop as games can easily be lost.

Or to put it another way, Hull, Swansea and ourselves will all have 12 points to play for and two of our games are away to Man U and Man City. We are almost certainly going to need something against Burnley and/or Hull.

Agreed games can easily be lost. However, with a lot of effort and application they can also be won. How about just ONE positive comment? Please!

As others have said, we've been very lucky with results going our way in recent weeks and we're four points ahead with a good goal difference (which could be as valuable as a point come May 21st).

I have mentally written off our game in hand (against Spurs) so anything we can get out of it will be a real bonus for me.

My main worry is that the boys have been playing with confidence and joy for the last few games but their performances when they were tense and worried were disastrous! I hope and pray that these results don't put the wind up them for tomorrow.

I'll be there singing my heart out for them; if Liverpool play like they did against Leicester the other week and we also play like we did against Leicester, I should have a good day out!

I think catastrophising at this stage isn't helpful. The fact is that we are in a far better position than we though possible a few weeks ago. Most fans looked at Chelsea, Arsenal, Saints and Leicester and thought we'd be lucky to get 4. We'd be on 32 in such a scenario. The fact we got 7 out of those games is a huge bonus. In that period the team have put us in a position where if we win two out of our last three at home, even maybe a draw and a win that may in fact be enough. Wins against Chelsea and Arsenal also give the side belief when we face any of the top six.

Keep the faith!

Guys let's be honest beat Burnley next week and we will go above them and possibly another couple of teams.

That will keep us safe anything tomorrow or Wednesday is a bonus but next Saturday is the big one it's completely in our hands.

Stop the panic and the faith.

I'm more annoyed with Watford. Appeared to be bossing the game and then Hull lose a man as well. So Watford then concede twice.
