Personally I think the difference lies not with when you started supporting Palace (or any club) but how you continue to support them. I think the term Plastic is really for those who show no interest in the club until the club are doing well and claim they have had some sort of allegiance all along. When they have little knowledge or care for the club yet criticise the club as soon as good times change to bad and give up on supporting the team.

Thats what i thought but i still get referred to as plastic...i really didnt have a clue about how good or bad Palace were when i started to watch them, i just enjoyed the game and the whole atmosphere that came with it from the fans and that was it i started to watch every game and got hooked. I admit ive not got much knowledge yet. I`m picking up as i go along really watching and reading which is why i dont tend to post in the football posts as yet as i really dont feel i have the right to add to them until i do. I do know that good or bad i am behind them all the way and defo wont stop supporting them..just wish i had been introduced to them alot sooner!
