I don't know if this is some kibd of kiss of death or something but Garth Crooks on the BBC opined that it was for Hull and Swansea to fight over the third telegation spot and Palace had "too much quality".

Throughout the early months of this season Danny Murphy said that about us almost every Saturday night on MOTD, as he commented on yet another defeat.

Talksport Thursday night about 9.30 pm they went through all the fixtures and estimated points and had us safe. Get some of the injured players back and we'll be alright.

Results going are way as it stands, Monday is a shot to nothing. That said I'd take a point now

If Swansea lose they will stay 2 games behind us with 6 to play. One win for us and they are then 3 games behind i.e. would need 2 wins and a draw to go above us or 3 wins if we get 4 more points. As it is they still need 4 points to go above us which they might struggle to do.

Their run in isn't too difficult though. But still even if we lose on Monday we will be in a better position than before this weekend as things stand.

Leicester game and that weekend in general looking massive. Swansea away at Watford and Hull away at Stoke.

3 down now! Let's hope It stays 1-0 Hammers v Swansea too (although I'd take a draw).

Eminently achievable, I'd wager.

Swansea lost as well, so that couldn't have gone better.

Awful lack of quality in the West Ham game. Swansea have lost the bounce Clement gave them. 3 points below us, goal difference is so bad that it's basically another point, and we have two games in hand on them.

A point v the Arse will be amazing. Really make a difference too. At the same time, pressure should be off a bit considering the other results.

Even the Stoke game went our way. Stoke's next game is against Hull, the one after is against Swansea. If they don't win at least one of those then they will be dragged into the relegation fight.
