Gutted, I hoped they would screw it up again, still it took an ex-eagle to get them there. Hopefully, they will get humiliated next season.

Let's beat then 9 - 0 and laugh all their fans out of the stadium. Especially the 200,000 new fans who will now suddenly emerge from the woodwork now that they're in the Premier League, and who will mysteriously vanish like the morning mist the moment they get relegated again. Fingers crossed that we keep our side of the bargain and complete our survival and then.......... I'm massively looking forward to what promises to be 2 proper derbies (no matter what your actual feelings are as to whether they should be considered our rivals or not) because after what we did to them in the Play Off Semi plus the fact we were the 1st to beat them in their shiny new bowl there WILL be real antagonism and bile in the 2 fixtures, Love it !!!!

Got to say this is a magnificent achievement by Brighton. Nearly a non-league club 20 years ago - and to now be in the Premier League is an amazing turnaround. Everyone will acknowledge the Amex is superior to Selhurst as a top flight stadium and there is no point knocking their support as they have a much bigger catchment area that could ensure sustainable Premier League status for years. Credit where credit is due.

They have done what we hadn't and have decent infrastructure in place. If they stay up for a season or two (and that's a big if) then they could establish themselves for years and years to come.
