They never search your 'nether region' to answer the questions of how they get into the ground, that's my guess anyway.

If they want to bring flares etc,and generally selfishly spoil the enjoyment of others then cage them in,in their own little part of the ground, maybe stick in a bouncy castle.

Punished by the boys in blue for the actions of a small few. How quaintly British.

I can't make my mind up on this one and can see why opinion is divided.
Personally I hate flares, fireworks in a ground.
When we get it at Selhurst nobody comes on saying how great it was that an away support had them, they only get negative posts.
I do think though the fact they are banned from grounds has to make it a no no regardless of opinion.
I do know that rightly or wrongly we are edging closer and closer to a group of fans of getting a very different type of press to that when we first came up.
The Boro coach incident and the flares and fireworks yesterday....

You've absolutely hit the nail right on the head.
You've put into words exactly what I think.

Even though a beer ban at half time would have really annoyed me I think it was the right thing to do.
Like flares and bangers alcohol and football should not mix.
After all we all know how dangerous alcohol can be killing tens of thousands every year making you act in a irrational way which in turn frightens kids who have to witness this.
So no to alcohol flares or bangers at games neither add to the atmosphere. And while we're at it hot Bovril too

Sorry but when I first saw the flares I came in my pants. Love it and I'm not ashamed.
