When a team has 'gelled' like Palace now have (after the Arsenal 3-0 victory), you really shouldn't change it unless you absolutely have to. I cite Leicester 2016 as an example - not the greatest players - just a great team. So I put a lot of monetary value on our current players. A world class goalkeeper, a world class RB, Defoe to support Benteke, and 2018 could be a glorious year...

IMO worth a shout is Tammy Abraham currently on loan to Bristol City from Chelsea. Chelsea will probably loan him out again next season, they will want him to improve and play at a higher level, so providing we stay up a loan to a bottom half prem team could suit all.

Of course he could turn out to be another Bamford !

Bar Sakho we really haven't had much luck with loans but given that it's Allardyce that'll be choosing our loans then i'm sure we can expect any new loanee to have an impact in the same vein as Sakho.

I personally think we had mixed fortunes: loans since promotion
Puncheon: successful loan turned permanent
Jerome: gave his all - not great in front of goal though
Tom ince - one good game on debut, little else
Zaha - most successful loan return
Doyle- waste of time
Sanogo- dreadful
Bamford - shocking
Remy - far to injury prone
Sakho - absolute beast

And he's turned into the best winger in the Championship since. Too bad those in charge back then couldn't see how few left footed players like him are out there.

14/15 season: 11 goals and 2 assists in 1600 minutes
15/16 season: 12 goals and 7 assists in 3200 minutes
16/17 season: 13 goals and 7 assists in 3400 minutes

If that's not constantly playing well, I don't know what is. Not just one fluke season

Players need time to come good - as mentioned (list of those who have not progressed) there needs to be two competing for each position - with one becoming a household name and the other let go.

So what? He was 22 years old and in a new team. 1 goals and 1 assist in 8 games isn't bad for a winger.

Palace should have paid the 2 million they were asking for him.
Not a large sum. Now he's one of the best English side midfielders (right behind Sterling, Antonio, Walcott, Ox, Townsend, Zaha and Redmond)

He's not even close to any of these Premier League players, hence why no Prem team has wanted him since Hull who didn't want him either.

Showed good promise for Blackpool but now at 25 years of age that potential hasn't materialised to a Prem quality player.

It's not good either, that goal and assist came in his only good game for us, in the other games he did absolutely nothing. Whats the point of paying for someone did not impress in his time on loan?

What more would it take? He's the finest in the Championship. If we have the likes of Boufal, Amrabat, George Boyd, Scott Arfield, Lee Chung Yeong, Pugh or Routledge in the Premier League, surely there must be room for Tom Ince.
