I don't particularly like united or city. Born in south London mate, the only time I haven't had a season ticket was when I was up at Salford uni, hence the name. If "Mings" had accidentally clipped him he would have checked back to see if he was ok. He knew what he was doing. As for "Zlatan", it's a hell of a lot easier to spell than his surname. Put your mac back on Columbo. In Mings' defence he only had eyes for the ball so was probably concentrating on stopping an attack. From my perspective he looked to leap over Zlatan and accidentally caught him on the way down but I appreciate many others see it differently.

Fair play!. We'll agree to differ then. If I'd been in Mings' shoes and it was an accident, I'd have checked back after the ball was cleared - not during play. And if I'd seen him get up (as he did) I wouldn't have bothered about it. Contact sport, ain't it? Edited by palace-metros (12 Mar 2017 1.16pm) Contact sport, fair enough when it's shoulder to shoulder, foot to head or elbow to face is another matter.

In Ibrahimovic's defence he never once looked round to see if Mings was behind him - only ever had eyes for the ball. It isn't a defence though.

Mings was marking him and Zlatan had a word with him before the corner was taken. Besides they both challenged for the ball hence in my opinion Zlatan knew of his whereabouts.

And Rojo - AGAIN - gets nothing: As much as I don't believe that the match officials are biased (well, maybe aside from Clattenburg), I guess the FA have a different agenda.

The referee has said he saw the Rojo incident and didn't deem it worthy of any punishment. Surely that admission should result in his dismissal from his lucrative referring job. He's either incompetent or corrupt.

I can't remember the ex ref who said this - You can expect consistency from a ref in the match but not from one match to another.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |

I understand the quote but you still seem to be working from the angle that it was a stamp. I don't know about you but when I jump in the air, my feet eventually come back down to earth. That's all I see here personally. In my opinion, he hasn't used excessive force or brutality against an opponentand therein lies the crux of the matter. I'd be livid if the ban was against one of ours in a similar situation. Which is why the Rojo decision is even more baffling. The TV replay (admittedly the only one I've seen) seems to show Rojo make a deliberate movement to stamp down whereas I think the Mings one was accidental.
