It seems to me that all these masses of GK debates only prove 1 thing; We haven't actually got a keeper of the required level at all. For There to be such a split 3 Ways between The 3 keepers tells me this. Personally, I'm in the Speroni Camp - although he is by no means immune to bad runs of form. What I do not understand is why managers do not switch it around more when a keeper has a prolonged bad run, which hennessey appears to be on now. It's time to give Speroni an opportunity. He's not gonna be much worse, and when he's good, he's great! It keeps hennessey on his toes too, and may just up his performance levels. it'll be intereting to see what happens when SM comes back into the fray properly too..

The Hennessy scapegoat agenda got to be dropped. Since the Sunderland disaster. He concede 1 goal in 2 games. Fans are quick to blame Hennessy. Yet there been poor performances all round. Imo mcarthur not hit the heights of last season. Fans will always pull up Townsend, Hennessy, ward, Delaney and puncheon. We win as a team, we lose as a team. Coyp

When I first joined this forum I though that I was going to be with Crystal Palace fans, who, like myself love the club and wouldn't cross the street to watch anyone else. I have been saddened by the over the top negativity and lack of faith shown in our team at times. Some comments I've seen make me think that maybe we've been infiltrated by Brighton and Charlton fans because I really do not want to believe they come from genuine Palace fans. Now over the many years I've supported the club I have at times wondered why we bought some players as I did not rate them highly enough to be in the team but I would never stoop to posting to the level of hate and vitriol that so many of you level at Wayne Hennessy. OK I get that you may think that he is not good enough Get behind our club and players and, if you must criticise any player, at least do it constructively and in a non aggressive manner.

Any keeper is bound to look dodgy with a dodgy defence in front of him. With Sakho and Milivojevic there and real left-footed left-backs he should come under less pressure. Sakho and Milivojevic do seem to calm things down and prevent panic. They still need to learn to communicate though.
