A good old fashioned slap is probably in order. Its not big and its not clever (or funny). The boy needs reigning in. No good can come of being allowed to behave like that. At any age.

I've mentioned him before the bloke at the back of the upper constant stream of abuse towards our players with plenty of Fs & Cs mixed in. It is surprising to me because of the total disregard of youngsters and women very close by who have to suffer it year in year out. I would go as far as to say he would probably go home unhappy if we win as he has not released his built up anger.
If I am a Nigel bring it on.

He is just behind us, to be fair he's had his season ticket there at least 20 years, no fairweather fan. The C word is annoying and he gets lots of turned heads and dirty looks when he uses it. But its not worth arguing amongst our own fans, because although he does slag off bad football by Palace players, generally speaking his comments are pretty accurate, albeit often OTT. If a Palace player is having a bad game he will shout about it.

Sometimes it is quite funny to be honest - gallows humour if you like, and boy have we had some football to get worked up about over the years !

Vilifying a small kid on a social network coz they don't like his swearing and are offended.Shame on you so called grown ups!
If you want to have a pop at someone, why not try his dad and leave the kid be. It's obviously a parenting issue.
People have sworn since the dawn of time and they are only words and if you're offended by a kid go find a safe space or confront the dad instead of having a go at a young lad and showing a video of him for all to see. you must feel so proud of yourselves.Really sad OP and embarrassing IMHO.
Fancy comparing fights in east london with a kid who quite clearly needs better parenting. I ask you.

WELL SAID

So, let me understand you right. You think hitting a 12 yr old is acceptable?

You need help, or maybe a slap yourself

I have been there from day one and I think your right on the time scale. I agree it can be amusing sometimes but the language is excessive. Most bad games his group do make an early exit which is good, but it does get a bit wearing.

You obviously didnt grow up in the same generation i did when a slap for unacceptable behaviour was administered either at school, home or by anyone else you crossed. If you think the way he carries on is ok then fair play. Reap what you sow. As for my slap feel free to pm me.

Yes I remember the days of the cane and strap at school and ruler over the knuckles. And I can recall teachers pulling one out of the classroom clasping one's ear !

Been dithering over whether to post this but there was a boy sitting next to me at Sunderland on Saturday and my word I've never heard language like it.

I'm 23, grown up in East London, seen fights like you wouldn't believe and hate to admit it but I've also watched a lot of Danny Dyer films.

But I have never heard language like what was coming out of this young boys mouth, and yes I know football is a release and I take my 17 year old brother and he says some things he wouldn't dare say indoors but this was well over the line.

Everybody was looking at this kid waiting for somebody else to say something but next thing we know it's 4-0 and everyone is raging and nobody wnats to pull up a man on how his son is behaving.

Does anybody know this boy and can have a quiet word? I for one won't be sitting there for a long long time!

I know language is the least of our problems as a team but this kid was in WH's ear from kick off about how much of a lanky c@^t he is etc etc and it couldn't have helped!

Get chatting to him, connect with him on some level and have a word in his ear, failing that, just tell him to tone it down.

Just because it's a football match, doesn't mean extreme swearing is acceptable. Manners maketh the man.

This was once a quality forum....

I think you've missed my point mate, it wasn't a comparison - it was merely to let people about to respond that I wasn't a 'Nigel' that's lived a sheltered life and never seen an ounce of violence or bad language, but that appears to have fallen on deaf ears too..
