This post has been merged from a topic called 'Watford an A game - £40 for the Arthur - p*ss take' by Old Chap The millions from BT and SKY give all Premier League clubs an opportunity to cut tickets, but the greed of players, coaches, management, agents and the clubs themselves prevent this. However, if we keep paying-up and simply moaning on message boards like this the message will not get through. Only direct action - a boycott - will change things and I applaud the poster for refusing to pay that outrageous £40 charge.

Majority want marquee signings and they come at a price. We have limited match day income and that has an impact on FFP

Selhurst Park could probably sell out twice over, so I don't see why the club would (or should) reduce ticket prices

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Watford an A game - £40 for the Arthur - p*ss take' by Old Chap It does seem a bit steep especially as the away fans in the same stand are paying max £30 I have just got my Chelsea tickets obviously £30 so is ok sometimes, I think we paid over £50 a while back. As stated pick one up from an absent season ticket holder should be a more reasonable price.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Watford an A game - £40 for the Arthur - p*ss take' by Old Chap It's ludicrous that you could watch every away at £30 each a ticket. Yet if you can't afford or have commitments to have a season ticket. It's 40 pound (cat A). In theory you could sit in the Watford end for 30 pound. I have a season ticket so it doesn't affect me but can understand frustration.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Watford an A game - £40 for the Arthur - p*ss take' by Old Chap Whatever way you look at it,ticket prices for football games are a f*cking rip off. There is no need to charge so much especially with the huge amount of TV money that there is at the moment. In my opinion, ticket prices should be £10 for an adult and £5 for a junior, (I know this will never happen). I love going to SElhurst Park but our ticket prices are really taking the p*ss, I am a massive Parish fan but he is always talking about how great our fans our but then has the audacity to charge these prices, what a p*ss take.
