Stoke giving Sunderland a right tanking at the Stadium of S***e. They have a goal back now. But still buggered I would have thought.

Looking much more dangerous now that Townsend's getting himself into the game. I think they've identified AT as a potential threat and a number of Stam players are crowding him out - not just one or two - so he doesn't have time to produce. Hopefully they'll be more down his side.

We gonna bring Remy on at half time or wait until the 60/70th min? Benteke doesn't look a threat at all and hasn't for ages!

Interested to hear more about this? 👂 Perhaps he wasn't as impressed with that day-time TV braying as some had hoped?
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Well you can complain that this is a s*** game, but this is exactly the kind of Big Sam performance I wanted - strangle the game, frustrate an already frustrated West Ham team, leave the game open to be nicked. We need points and I'd much rather this than see a Pardew team throw themselves forward and allow a demoralised West Ham team to pick themselves up by scoring cheap goals against us.

We should have been 1-0 up, but we can sort that out in the 2 half. By the way , I saw a real eagle today flying over my house, can that be a positive omen?

The first 'calm' half from us in months. We can play from midfield but cant play from the back...if our defence start passing around the ball is not going forward. The team look a bit clumsy at times but overall we look ok.

Looking better than the Swansea game anyway. Just waiting for our usual s***ty piece of luck or loss of concentration to f*** us over though, but hopefully things are coming together at last, fingers crossed.
Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot. |

Well SA said before the game we'll respect the point. Seems like he's game plan in centered on achieving that.

Really hoping we see Remy at some point. I'd put him on for Puncheon. I reckon he could be the difference.
