That's not hard to achieve but I can't see us paying £12m for a squad player so I'm guessing that one of Zaha or Townsend will be leaving - hopefully the latter

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

We need them both for the other flank with Wilf able to swap sides and bamboozle the opponent. Also, it wasn't long ago that Townsend was tearing up strips for Newcastle and England and almost kept the Magpies up single handed. That was only months ago; and he is still the same man [somewhere in there]. Don't give up on him yet.

According to Wiki he got players' POTY award in 2014/15 and was young POTY in 2014/15 and 2015/16. This suggests he has good character and potential. Speed, power and a lack of direction makes him sound like a born and bred Palace winger, so I hope this goes through. Bolasie MKII perhaps?

Yes please, young and voted Leicester young player of the year for last 2 seasons. Strong and very quick, and versatile. If we can get him would be a great addition. Like I said earlier, don't read too much into that. He won by default by being essentially the only player eligible for the award. He did win players player the year we stopped up with the great escape. But it was viewed as a two fingers up to Cambiasso who the players didn't like. Edited by foxedup (11 Jan 2017 10.25am)

The lad could be a Danny Rose, absolutely no question about that. He will just need patience and time. He has played all over the pitch, grew up a striker so it's only natural he won't have those instincts straight off... if you accept that and give him time, who knows. I had the same thoughts as you, two managers who are good and eventually tightening up defences and getting them organised, either could be very very good for him.

He's the very epitome of sublime to the ridiculous. Would wish him all the best though as he's always been a good lad from what we know and all the players liked him.

Seems a lot of money but in general I think I'd trust SA.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |
