I shall treat all the WIKI hogwash with disdain. A referee cannot see any incident from a variety of angles for goodness sake - I despair! Only TV cameras can see this and he cannot avail of them. Besides at any given time his view can be obscured by players getting in his way !!!! Try refereeing if you haven't already and you will appreciate what I am saying. Well I've seen the incident and you (by your own admission) haven't. Si tacuisses professus mansisses.

Yes, you were saying that you had no evidence of anything at all but that you were still right and we were all wrong. As usual.

In fact I recall expressing sentiments to the contrary and I have always maintained I am more self-deprecation than self-promotion. Going back to my original post, I stated that I couldn't comment on the precise incident as I haven't witnessed it. What I DID say was a response to your claim that you saw it, with me saying you probably saw it from different angles and 'Slow-Mo' whereas Clattenburg didn't have access to such a view.Accordingly I was responding to one of your comments and NOT the incident.

So you were. Something else of which you have absolutely no evidence whatsoever. We aren't talking about debatable incidents, ones where the ref maybe didn't see, ones where he might have guessed, etc. etc. We are talking about blatant fouls or cheating which have taken place right in front of supposedly top referrees and which have been called incorrectly when there is clearly no excuse. I've lost count of the number of those I've seen this season. And the only person I know who thinks the standard of premier league referees is good enough is you.

At half time! ? Surely he shouldn't be watching it at half time as it might make him try to even things up in second half!? He should be locked away at half time away from it all.

Incompetent menace. But it's done us a favour today. Now to capitalise on it!

I'm not a ref but , first viewing wasn't it more like ball to hand , anywhere else on the pitch it wouldn't be given , but is there scope for the ref not to give it as its a goal ????
