Can't beat a 2L bottle of White Lightning in my opinion. As a cider aficionado though it has to be drunk at air temperature, ideally whilst sitting outside McDonalds hurling vitriolic abuse at passers by.

Real ales for me. Not a fan of the slight fizz in craft ales. Love the darker beers, especially this time of year, like strong stouts and porters. Personal favourite is Fullers Imperial Stout. £7 a bottle, but at 10.7% its full of flavour. Even better after a stressful day.

Coffee is for foreigners, paedophiles and terrorists. It tastes like bittered s**t beans, and the only reason people 'get a taste for it' is because its an addictive physical stimulant. And that's why coffee tastes 'nice' because it fulfils the craving (especially if you add sugar, also a highly addictive stimulant). No one seems to drink decafinated coffee, complaining of the taste... Which is untrue as caffine is flavourless and adds nothing to the taste of coffee beans. Junkies. I dunno, I often feel like a coffee at night, sometimes have a decaf for the bitter taste. Bit like wanting some dark chocolate. I agree with Kermit otherwise - ale, whisky, but also like a good Calvados from time to time.
