We would have a whip round to buy him a fiddle

Certainly Parish would receive a "horse whipping" by supporters - metaphorically speaking of course. As I have said a nightmare scenario for Parish.

Well maybe. Our failure in that game was to see it out.One of the lads should of got a tackle in on Rooney.

Same as Saturday Cabaye followed Hazard across the pitch ,Cabaye should of tackled him.
Hazard passed , the cross came in and Wayne cocked up.
Lost 1-0.

I don't really mind too much if we're relegated, obviously I'd rather stay up, but we've had a good run in the top flight and I think we'd go down a more 'established team' than when we went up, and with greater influence, economic capacity, status - I think we all kind of know that its unlikely we'd become a permanent Premiership team without massive investment.

I could live with the championship, provided we don't do a Charlton / Bolton / Wigan.

The reality would be that we'd have very little tangible to show for four years in the PL. No substantial ground improvements, no new stand, no major improvements to the training facilities, not even that new club shop in the car park. Some cladding on the main stand seems a rather poor return after four years. Plus there'd be a mass exodus of those players who could still find a place in the PL and an even bigger exodus of 10,000 'supporters'. And I wonder how long the US investors would hang around? The idea that we would somehow 'do a Newcastle' is, I fear, a forlorn hope; we don't have a great record for bouncing back.

It's started sooner than I thought.

In a few weeks it could be 'Relegation? So be it' from the same surrendering, accept less get less who said the same wit Adar when the options were and are much better. We're verging on becoming really pathetic if the next few games he doesn't deliver. If he doesn't he's got to go. Shouldn't even be here anyway.

Don't we? I thought we'd been in and won more Championship playoffs than anyone else. And I wouldn't think Wickham or Souare would be going anywhere having not played for most of this season, for a start.

Having said which, if this muppet takes us down with the players he's got, I for one will be f****** incandescent.

Well we haven't been doing much of it in the last couple of decades; 1997-98, 2004-05 and 2013. Six years, then eight years to get back up; 10 years next time? Agreed, we did a bit of yo-yoing in the 1990s, but not since. I too would be surprised if Wickham and Soure weren't still here, but Benteke, Cabaye, Zaha, Townsend, Puncheon, Mandanda?

Would be a serious problem. As well as these leaving, quite a few of the 'remainder' would need replacing as getting old or not good enough. Big rebuilding job if we go down....

While many are in denial, at least James Mc Arthur knows we are in a relegation battle and that the Watford match is now a" must win game".
Lose this one and again at Arsenal, and Pardew is finished.Just how many more games to we have to lose before our position becomes hopeless ??
Do hope his replacement has already been short listed so we can have a seamless change of manager in the minimum time frame .
