How about, Frank de Boer or Roberto Mancini for starters, but safe to say there are others.

Maybe but unlikely.I don't think de Boer or Mancini would fancy South London.

I'm not blindly following AP, and his time may come soon if we finish as the worst form team in 2016, however what I see is the basis of a good team. Sure we should have done better, but there has been some bad luck alongside the poor decisions and some lack of game plan. Burnley was unforgivable, but I do believe we'll turn a corner soon. Sure we're not "too good to go down" and a change will happen by the end of 2016 if we don't turn it round, but I think we will. I trust Steve Parish to do what's right for the club and if he's happy to give AP a little longer then so am I.

So cheer up bigpapi, no need for personal insults old chap. I have been known to be uncivil, so please don't be rude to me again. X

If we have the basis of a good team why haven't we seen it on the pitch? Why the loss to an inferior Burnley and West Ham? Why can't Pardew see the SIMPLE CHANGES that need to be made in game like during the Leicester City match? Why weren't the shortcomings of the squad Pardew himself was putting out addressed? Either during this summers transfer window, the January transfer window, or the previous summer transfer window, or the previous January transfer window. When the likes of Alex McCarthy (Southampton), Bakary Sako (Championship level player), Connor Wickham (Consistently hurt or looks disinterested also should've been Charlie Austin), and Jordon Mutch were brought in. So for that and a litany of other reasons I say Pardew should be sacked. All you have is we made the FA Cup finals and nearly won, but we lost (HEARTBREAKING) and it was a HEARTBREAKER I will give you that. But that's NOOOOO reason for Pardew to keep his job through the HORRIBLE run of 2016, a run that I might add he caused by not getting the right players to implement the system he wanted.

I genuinely don't think we've been that bad this season. We've had the odd half where we've not been great, but that can be said of nearly every team in the PL. Whoever we replaced AP with would not, I'm almost certain, move us into the top 8 without some serious money and a new stadium. The other thing is that the manager doesn't appear to have lost the players and despite the form they still seem together.

I'm confident AP will get us on another winning run again soon. Then we'll have a losing one. Then a winning one, and so on, and we'll end up around the lower middle. We are so far away from competing for the top 8 and that is more than a change of manager will fix.

Interesting points; I am not convinced that he still has all of the dressing room. For me he is weak on man management and tactical ability, 2 things essential in any PL manager with a growing number of highly priced players in their team.
He needs to strengthen these areas and quickly which of course may be why he has been in the US over the break? This would also involve a long hard look at himself and implement change.

Bring back Brolin
