I don't see Pardew as "Hanging on by a thread".
Even if we lose to Swansea next week I can still see him in charge for the Southampton game and beyond.

Palace would've claimed at least a memorable draw against City yesterday had it not been for abject defending within both away goals, that no manager can hold himself really responsible for. Players concerned including Cabaye know that they committed school boy errors in marking and clearance.

I can blame Pardew for starting again with Kelly at LB when he has clearly been struggling, I can blame him for the Benteke substitution, especially as he failed to ensure that marking Toure was covered (which was presumably the message he 'failed to get on')

I think the question that must be answered is are things getting better, or are things getting worse. And if they're getting worse, we need to do something. When things aren't working, you can't carry on doing the same thing and expect a different result - you need to change.

We are in trouble, we all know this. I at present can't see us winning a game, my confidence has been shattered. This time 12 months ago we were flying, after the Southampton game (Dec 2015) it's all gone pair shaped big time. I for one hate to see managers sacked and crave long term tenure but I think we MUST make a change sooner rather than later. We have the players to see us in the top ten and this is where we should be. So it is with regret I ask for a change!!!

We haven't kept a clean sheet in 10+ matches. How is that remotely possible?

Bookmakers don't get it wrong often, Pardew is nowhere near favourite for the sack and we are not in the frame for relegation odds.
If we don't get any points from Swansea and Hull that could change, but I think Pardew will be here in the New Year.

As is frequently pointed out in Transfer Talk, bookmakers know jack s*** about f*** all and only go where the money goes.

Meanwhile Talk S***e, who never evdn mention Palace normally, have been on about what a shoogly peg Pardew's coat is on and what has to happen before he gets his jotters.

Swansea must have got a boost from their draw yesterday at Everton and were ahead until minutes from the end.
They haven't done that well at Home recently but they were playing Man Utd,Man C and Liverpool.

In their last Home game, Hull beat Southampton 2-1 which was an excellent result.

Beating Swansea and Hull would merely paper over the cracks. His history records long runs of defeats and there is a reason for this.

Which is why I did not want him in the first place. But, I still think he should be given until Christmas.

I don't think the board are as trigger happy as some think or would like. Yes the results have been shocking. Especially at home, with last weeks debacle doubling the agony as we conspired to lose the game twice.
But the team are playing well (generally!) ..we are improving, learning to keep more possession and creating more. Unless AP loses the dressing room, which I can see no sign of, then I think he will be given time to turn it around. Which I really hope he does.

Which is the right answer. It's a shame some of our more fickle supporters cannot see that the performances have been there for the best part of this season so far, and the players are most definitely still with him and until that changes he will have my support.

Our luck will change and a transfer window in January will also help. A sacking usually happens around now so a a new manager has a transfer window.

I think the reason AP is still here is we're constantly being teased with how good we could be. Yes we keep losing, but losing after bossing man city around until the equaliser shows we can be a great team. If we were consistently crap & losing i doubt he'd be here. The dilemma is we're consistently great and crap, like teasing the board that he might just pull off the greatest palace side ever.

That's is the truth. If like under Ollie and Warnock we were being turned over badly it would be an easy decision, but the team keep teasing us that they could be really good. It's bloody frustrating.
