Out all day long... The FA Cup run only masked how awful we have been in the league in 2016.

Personally I don't think players would be sad to see him leave. I know one at the club personally who has been telling me for a while now that all is not well in the dressing room.

5 wins in 33 league games is just shocking. I don't think any other Prem club would put up with that kind of record.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I would give him more tie as we are still playing well going forward. Losing Pape has clearly hurt. See where we are end of the year as he's not lost the dressing room

In - i don't see what the problem is. We are playing much better football now and look like a mid table team going forward keeping the ball. This may lead us a bit more exposed at the back but the back 5 need to learn to adapt to the new style and start cutting out basic errors.
It is a shame our fastest defender is out injured but it was not like Burnley had super fast players themselves.
I am sure if need be we can go back to 2 defensive midfielders drop our wingers and full bacs deep and block up the space to help us stop conceding but that is regressive and means we won't score much either.
Judge at the end of the season

Which two defensive midfielders would that be?
Jedinak has gone and we don't have a spare one.
Cabaye likes playing further forward as does MacArthur.
Ledley is in poor form and Mutch and Lee might as well not be there.
We have no cover for our back four who are (unfortunately) weakened by the loss of Souare.
We sold Jedi and forgot to replace him - oops!

The same Mark Ritson that fabricated the Bolassie story?

The general sentiment might be correct but I would take how it's written i.e. "Warning" with a huge pinch of salt.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

No he is not. I hesitated before deciding 'out' earlier. but those comments confirm to me I had it right. He'll relegate us in the name of entertainment rather than take a step back, get some clean sheets and give us a platform to experiment on. As someone said on here a while ago, if he was made of chocolate, he'd eat himself.

As I said previously his arrogance and his "up his own arse-ness" will lead us straight to the Championship.

It's a wonderful idea to play expansive attacking football, IF you have the players to do it. Lets face it we don't.

If we don't start playing to our strengths soon (which AP has said we won't) then we are bang in trouble.

the City game is a write off. We need to beat Hull and Swansea and get something from the Southampton game or we are in the brown stuff. All down to him I'm afraid.

There are sufficient quotes to make the meaning completely unambiguous:

"Anyone who knows the way I manage, I like my teams to be on the front foot and score goals, so clean sheets have never been the top of my priority," he said.

"But, of course, they are important and I have been looking for one, because it will give us the foundation to win a game.

"I want my team to play, I want my team to entertain. Certain Palace fans are focusing on that part of our game (keeping clean sheets), then that's understandable – but I am not going to change the way we play.

"I want us to play and entertain. I felt the game against Liverpool, poised at 3-2, was an unbelievably great game for anyone watching.

"Our Palace fans should be enjoying the fact we were having a go at Liverpool and not sitting back, looking to just stop them. So, that's how I am and that's how it is."

Entertainment, regardless of results, will see us relegated as will his complete inability to recognise that there's a problem. He's actually suggesting that those who actually part with their hard-earned should be somehow grateful for his performances this year.

If we don't come away from the Swansea and hull matches with a decent return he's signed his own sacking (golden goodbye).

4:1 second fave to go after Moyes.

Just a shame he cant see what the rest of us can. Great idea playing sexy, on the edge football but if the results aren't coming, go back to basics first, then try the fun stuff.

I've never thought he was "the one" but ws happy to have a familiar name at the helm. I'm now firmly in the "I told you so" camp and want him out if he's going to stick to his regime that is. This sort of stuff will begin to tear the squad apart and I can see a couple of names doing one in Jan, understandably so.

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan
