My own personal view (I might be too optimistic !) is that we will finish in 14/15 place.

IF by chance we just finish above the relegation zone say a point clear will this be considered OK by the supporters for the fact thar we have stayed up or will many feel Pardew has under-achieved ?

If I was a betting man, I would wager that we will survive and Pardew will still be with us at the end of the season but "Mystic Meg" I am NOT !!!!

If we keep playing like we have done this season, and Benteke stays fit, then I think we will finish 11th-13th, which would be a very good season.

If we finish 1 point off relegation I will think we have underacheived yes, and Pardew will be under pressure, but I believe we are better than that under Pardew and will show it the rest of the season.

Let's fervently hope so as it will benefit us all !

Not sure that we will finish as high as 11th !

11th to 13th might be our limit, provided we buck up our ideas and appease the masses who want AP sacked (Not a fan, but if he goes, he goes).

Don't understand how people are reaching the conclusion that with a new manager we'll suddenly improve from team with 1.1 points per game to another level?

Who is this mystical fix all? Just look at how Moyes is doing at Sunderland! There are no guarantees.

You have to realise that some people just dont like Pardew and some players. We could go on an unbeaten run of 10 games with AP having put WH back in goal and they would still pick holes. For the record i am not bothered if AP stays or goes as long as we remain in the prem. I support the club no matter who is in charge.

I suspect that if we win the next 10 games there will be those who say "Well we have only won 15 out of the last 42 games" !!!!

they wont be wrong tho will they? - if anything, winning the next 10 and having that stat shows just how bad things have gotten to be.

This. Pardew isn't great, but he's nowhere near as bad as the Pardew out brigade make out. He's brought in some good players and if/when we get the first X1 fit I think we'll be fine.

Back to the thread. Burnley have very little up front and if their defense plays like they did against man utd, we have a very good chance. Feeling quite positive about this one.

The fact is that if we do not beat Burnley then serious questions need to be asked about the manager. Anyone who settles for "well they are newly promoted team with some spirit etc etc" is delusional. We should be beating Burnley.

Looking at season 2015/16 stats starting with the opener at Norwich thru to the Cup Final, in all competitions, we won 16 games so where this "we only won five comes from I don't know.
