While I'm not obviously asking anti Pardew fans to go and support another club I do want to highlight the abject over emotional irrational behaviour of some Palace fans when it comes to the manager.

Every club has them.....It's like having the dim or easily triggered one in the family who everyone ends up raising their eyes and shaking their head about.

Still at times like these they deserve the push back.

It's good to see a couple of wins at last and some sparkling individual performances. But it's still a long way to Tipperary so pack all your troubles in your ol' football kit bag and smile smile smile ...while it lasts!

Whilst we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves with two wins on the trot, it just highlights how fickle football fans can be. Palace fans were slowly starting to sound like Newcastle fans calling for Pardew's head and I felt a little ashamed at the beginning of the season if I'm honest. Even fans I considered to be well-informed were jumping on the bandwagon, and they're probably now singing his name at the game yesterday. Embarrassing.

I will continue to support Pardew but I am not convinced by him yet.

He has to break this 'boom and bust' sequence of winning streaks and losing streaks. Last season from January onwards was uncomfortable. Also he has to demonstrate some tactical flexibility & ingenuity.

Yesterday was wonderful. Let's hope this continues.

I have been anti Pardew and as the previous poster has said I am not convinced at all yet.
Great win yesterday and a good result at Middlesborough the previous week as well.
The team still doesn't look together yet but I am sure that will come in time so no criticism there.
I still think Pardew is a square peg round hole Manager and that and other aspects worry me.
I criticised him after many defeats and poor performances so I don't see how after two wins he is suddenly the new Messiah.
Yesterday was great but Stoke were absolute rubbish and when he said that yesterday was the "end game" for us I am afraid it worried me slightly.
Let's wait and see and as always I will be happy to eat humble pie if needs be.

And still people aren't happy as it was 'only' Boro & Stoke. Wins are wins, regardless who the opposition is. If you can't enjoy it why bother at all?

Exactly. And it was the manner of the wins too. All good stuff. Obvious that Pardew hasn't lost the dressing room nor lost the plot. He just needed to buy and tinker a bit and the players themselves needed to up their own personal game. Took him eight months but he is our Super Al and he had earned that period.

And well done Parish for not undermining him or hinting at hte sack ever.

I hope the anti Pardew brigade, who suspiciously may have joined us in recent years as part of the premier league band wagon, crawl back into their man caves as they rally haven't got a scoobiedoo about how a club like ours operates trying to compete in the premier league against the Giants.

As someone pointed out, we lacked in purchasing power last January following injuries but our manager has attracted some quality players over the summer and had a chance to upgrade and prove his point.

Does anyone here STILL want Murray, Jedinak, Gayle and co back???

Thank god for the Palace faithful, you know who you are.

Saw the lads before the game yesterday & it was buzzing in there - a clear 'togetherness'.

I think these gloating posts are almost as bad as all the hysterical, doom and gloom posts when we're losing.

Pardew rightfully deserved criticism for our woeful 2016 form up until three games ago, just as he deserves credit for turning things round since then.

Why attempt to mar a fantastic win by having a pop at other fans? It's a message board, it's reactionary, just ignore it and enjoy the result today.

Not so sure he did tbh...Injuries played a massive part but was ignored by those that jumped on the bandwagon...only to then start blaming him for the injuries as well.

Purely balance for those instances where the Anti Pards brigade...seems perfectly logical to me. Not as if he's waded in with half the vitriol that he other side has or does...

I agree I should feel ashamed. How dare I be worried about a streak that included two wins in six months and Pardew seemingly not knowing how to turn it around. I still dont think Pardew is as good as some think, but know one will be more delighted that me if I am proved wrong.

Seeing as you're willing to extend the range of games to 6 months....why not extend that a little further back to a year and then work out how many wins we've had in that period.

Whilst I wouldn't by any stretch say that 2 games is a 'streak' I do know that people will stretch anything to suit their own agenda...and looking back six months or however much further is futile...looking forwards is the key.

I think there is one thing that is wrong about the British is that they are too critical on themselves.

The out AP group must have more patience. Harping back to last season and adding that bad run CP had then to this season is not a very good analysis of the clubs state of affairs. This is a completely different season with different conditions.

Stick with AP and build on all the positive vibes of the club and team by being not be so destructive. The negative thinkers can do harm without a question of doubt.

Positive thinking by all you supporters will go a long way to the making the clubs a success. Is the blinding performance of today not part of Plan B?

There is plenty wrong with Americans, Self promotion and thinking everything is Awesome for a start. Most of them know naff all about English Soccer either and are more into Rounders.
