He has three previous cautions - one for a public order offence in 2011, one for common assault in August 2015 and one for being drunk and disorderly and resisting a police constable in March 2015." He sounds just like "a good lad"

I say give him another chance. But make him do community work. Or something that makes him appreciate how lucky he is and how he needs to be more grateful and responsible. Does that make sense?

I think he is lucky to have avoided Jail and personally think he deserves to have gone in for a bit. 4th time, 2 times last year, clearly a suspended sentence and a telling off isn't enough. The club have given this kid so much. He has captained the U21s he has had chances with England at youth level. He is in a position of extreme priveledge. Also at his age he hasn't made any inroads to the first team so why exactly are we keeping him around. We are not a rehab centre we are a football club. I think this continued behaviour is a slap in the face to the club and for the other academy kids seeing the big name Innis lose it all after being a t*** might make them focus. Richard Shaw has already spoken about concentration issues in the development squad. Getting away with stuff like this can't help but make the players feel somewhat too comfortable.

I am assuming that £300 damages for the victim indicates he was not that badly hurt.....no excuse but it does sound as though Innis requires some serious anger management, if you drink and your temper become unmanageable you probably need to stay off the alcohol but more importantly sort out what the rage is all about. Drug addicted mum, absent imprisoned dad....say no more, he is a bit of a mixed bag, worked hard looks after his family but is immature and is dangerous when he has a drink....hope he will take this last opportunity to sort his problems out. I like it that Parish is clear about support and last chance.

I don't know the guy but reports suggest that he's had several run ins with the law. He's no longer a kid and should have grown up by nowThe codes will change to the following They didn't say exactly when it would change, but you should all be getting contacted today about it.. Sounds like he's had a tough up bringing but I would assume he has plenty of people supporting him from CPFC. He's repeatably offended and it doesn't seem as though he has learnt his lesson yet - when will he? How many chances does he get? Why is a professional footballer in this day and age going out on the lash? To me, time up, a dangerous hot head like him is surely a bad influence in the squad. What if he was to bottle one of our players at a club function? Surely he's a ticking time bomb on the pitch as well. He's not been near the starting 11 and he's 21 now, no longer 'potential' he should be starting to deliver. He's doesn't appear up it on the pitch so let him go.

During the transfer windows if we are ever linked with a thug by the media there is an outcry on HOL that we don't want such a person here but when it's one of our own we seem to be much more forgiving. I'm surprised that Steve Parish has been so forgiving and accommodating too as I'm guessing that Innis isn't the sort of person that Parish likes mixing with

Cancel his loan deal, bring him back in-house and monitor, he clearly hasn't learned anything from his previous mistakes. No booze or anything else that will impact on his ability to perform as a professional sportsman. And nothing cushy for his community service.
