Whilst videos can be misleading, they do give an impression of what a player can do & their style of play. If you look at the videos of this guy on YouTube you'll see that he doesn't seem to be a holding midfielder. He's a combatitive tackler who retains possession and turns defence into attack often through his speed and dribbling skills. At least that's my take. He may be categorised as a DM, but he seems to have the ability and desire to drive forward at pace often in tight situations. Someone else suggested that he looks like he could very easily become a cult figure & I agree. A midfield tiger. Buy him.

I know what you mean but if you watch, most of those runs are from deep, just in front of defence and/or with half or more of the team in front of him and a lot of the time 4 or 5 of his team around the box. Def mids on the continent and Latin America will be more cultured. Maybe he'd be more likely to go forward or one of 2 who can, or in a 5 man midfield.

Sounds like the bidding process is underway. Could be a worthy successor to Jedi, and ours for €9-10m?

he seems like great player for us, and a replacement for jedi who is 6 years younger.
i hope we do not play silly buggers with the price , and just pay the necessary

This is the video which impressed me most. [Link]
Over 8 mins and most in the middle & attacking thirds I thought. And the goal he scores at the end is sublime. With his weaker left foot as well.
Yes the video will be showing him in the best possible light. But his energy, strength, speed of mind and feet shine through. As someone else said, he's always looking up to see the possibilities. He may be labelled a DM but this video shows him as an exciting creator as well. Not a horrendously large fee. Well worth the risk in my book.
Please, please - just buy him!

Looks good, in the right area of where we desperately need to strenghthen and seems a very reasonable fee in this day and age.

The rumours of the Brazilian have gone quiet so 1 area we still really need to add to (and maybe Wilshire on loan )

This guy looks mustard on the ball, slight shades of Maradona the way he moves with his low centre of gravity.
