Wickham is crap.When he signed for us for 8mil I thought to myself, that good money down the drain...When he's not scoring goals which is more often then not he's injured (at least then he has an excuse) Playing him is like playing with 10 men

Your opinion, fortunately nearly everyone else thinks otherwise.

just my opinion on Wickham, he reminds me of all the other non firing forwards we've had in the ranks the last couple of years....Jerome,Campbell,Chamakh,Zaha,Adebayor.... and the only proven goalscorer we had we sold.

Whatever he was supposed to be doing, he wasn't doing it.

The difference between Wickham and that smorgasbord of plumb duffs, is that unlike Wickham most (adebayor being an exception) were given decent enough service to return a decent amount of goals.

However to include Zaha in that is mind mindbogglingly daft.

Spot on, the Wickham transfer speaks volumes about Pardew, on one hand he's willing to spend a lot of money on a well known dud and on another is willing to stick by him after knowing full well he's garbage....A proper manager would put their hands up, but he's ego won't allow it.
