I have been very lucky to see so many at their peak.
George Best Denis Law Bobby Charlton
Bobby Moore Jimmy Greaves Stan Bowles Rodney Marsh
Maradona Socrates Johan Cruyff Zico Van Basten
Paul Gascoigne Kevin Keegan Billy Bremner Jim Baxter Glenn Hoddle Ossie Ardilles Thierry Henry Denis Bergamp

I'm sure there were others. I was just lucky to be born when I was.

Gotta be Best for me, in his Man U days. Glad to see someone mention Puskas and Di Stefano - I assume that was in the friendly against Real Madrid which I just missed out on.

One of the most famous in one of the least famous of circumstances:

David Beckham playing for LA Galaxy in a friendly game versus the Wellington Pheonix in New Zealand!

It looked like he was playing in a Sunday League game in front of 30,000 people.

Best Law Charlton

The whole England 66 world cup winning side, not in the tournament, but against Wales a couple of months later at Wembley when the same XI played.

Henry, Bergkamp, Ray Parlour
