From a Palace perspective, anyone know how Marcus Bent categorises himself?

it's a shame that specific communities feel they are outcasts, so create a new community where anything else is viewed an outcast - if that makes sense. All i care about is if you are happy, treat people with respect and live a positive lifestyle - as that is how i try and live mine. some of the funniest people i know are gay, smartest people different skin colour to me, caring people trans - In the same hand, some are right fools... it's all about how you act, that defines you. I don't think they so much feel that they are outcasts, but they have a history and experience of being made outcasts by society. I don't think people realise just how much this can occur, without any real intent of malice. Take Gay Marriage, if no one really cared, no one would have given a s**t, but instead it flared up a lot of opposition based in prejudice and almost deliberate ignorance of what the proposal was that seemed to mistake legal status for religious status.

This was bothering me as well. Why would the staunchly non sexual want to be lumped together with gay men who, frankly, largely have a vociferous sexual appetite involving many practices that most would shy from? Also you have different forms of asexuality - Including those who do engage in sexual behaviours, such as masturbation, and those who feel not sexual desire at all. In my experience, that's not really all that true about gay men, well no more so than for straight men - except maybe they're also dealing with other men. In my experience, my sexual appetite was more restricted by women, rather than myself.

Bit of classic tabloid overeporting, given three families have threatened to withdraw their kids for one day, and they got a quote from one mother about 'gender nonsense'. Its good for kids to learn about the complexities of difference, and that there is nothing wrong with being a bit different. I didn't really know about Transgender until I was 15, when I met someone, in my fathers AA group, who had being realigned.

Looking at her photo, I would guess that the headperson owns an LG fridge.

Totally agree with the above. 'Exploring sexuality' festivals at 4 years old is plain wrong.
