Adebayor had spent the summer training away from Mauricio Pochettino’s first team and, after the window shut, he was excluded from the 25-man Premier League squad the manager submitted. Shortly afterwards, Adebayor reached the settlement on his contract.......so probably not being paid 100k a week....
Aha Found it now: [Link] so yes still being paid 100k a week by spurs

Hmm....the mirror doing an article on his expensive watch collection, saying he's still being paid by spurs, while the guardian and express both saying his contract was terminated in September by mutual consent......who to believe....

I think the fact he posted photos of his £450,000 watch collection on Instagram sums up what sort of a human being he is...

Well worth a read, particularly if you have been completely sold the Adebayor bad egg line.

Genuinely don't get the hostility to such an idea. I'd much rather have a free Adebayor, playing for a contract and scoring goals, than spending over the market value for a forward in a desperate attempt to sort our goal-scoring issues out. Let's be frank here, yes he is a bit of a nightmare but he can score goals and has a point to prove. He's the sort of player who'd excel at Palace and become somewhat of an iconic figure. Excellent post! A very Parish signing if you ask me; entirely sensible, low-risk but with great potential.

Get him motivated, fit and firing and Adebayor is an absolute beast.

He has a bad rep, but I think, something to prove still. Despite the rumours, I seriously doubt that big money will be spent on a striker. Adebayor offers a short term solution and it's one worth looking at
