Just come out on Sky Sports Transfer Centre that he has just extended his contract to 2020: [Link] So looks like his price will have been pushed upwards at least.

People happy to spunk a fortune on an unknown but Austin is unproven?? If we are going to sepnd a lot I would hope we would go for someone with PL experience. We aren't yet at the position we can afford expensive flops, cheap / bargain foreigner fine, spend big then I would want to minimise any risk of failure
1. The great passes he was getting Not saying he's cr@p or not an upgrade, BUT, I really do wonder how a youtube of Gayle or even Campbell would've looked if it was either of them in that team with those awesome passes and cr@ppy defenders (and the music)... FFS...I'd be well cheesed if we spunked 15m on him in favour of PL proven predators like CA. True

Steve Parish on flight back from Marseille, ...where he'd been tasting wines alongside Steve Browett in preparation for the next Palace Business Lunch.

Has the same agent as Bakary Sako. Scored v psg , not all s***e defenders he scores against. Would have put wilfs chance yesterday away for sure. Would they have extended his contract till 2020 if he was pony I ask myself?

Would they have extended his contract till 2020 if he was pony I ask myself? This is why Parchmore Eagle's services as a professional scout are not in demand.

This will be massive should he come to us,he's club got knocked out off the French cup yesterday. So should we meet the £15 million buy out clause this could happen The fact that Cabaye is at the club could prove a massive pull also.

Have to agree with most of you here, this guy would not only be a great addition and enhanced statement of intent but he's exactly what we need right now, a physical young striker that can pop in some goals and play fast football. The fact he'd be coming from France only helps because look at Pardews record with French players he knows the good ones and he knows how to unleash them.
