If Pards is having a clear out I would get rid of Chamakh long before I got rid of Murry.

Yes mate. Me to.

And me. We now have better options to play the number 10 role and he doesn't shoot or score enough to play up front on his own. Also I would imagine he's on a decent wage and he's injury-prone.

Just goes to show some on here have no idea about football.

As it happens Chamakh until Cabaye's arrival was the most technically talented player on our books, and he is still the 2nd most technically player we have.

What I do know is that he scored f-ck all compared to Puncheon and seems to be made of glass. He is quality but there are options, hence why we haven't really missed him at all.

Chamakh has made 50 appearances in two seasons for us , he is neither injury prone or " made of glass" .

There are some proper bozos on this site. A player gets injured and out he goes. Chamakh is superb. Him+ cabaye = football heaven. The mouth waters. And there are some on here who want to discard him. Ludicrous.

Exactly can't wait to see chamakh and cabaye in the same team. It make s me wonder if people have ever actually watched palace play live or just go by stats

I don't think you'll ever see them playing in the same team mate. Unless jedinak, puncheon, MacArthur, Ledley and Mutch all die in a freak 5 man canoe accident.

I think we'll try and offload Chamakh. Attitudes all wrong for a professional although I concede he's played well when called upon. Seen him smashed to pieces twice in the last month, horrible, arrogant c*nt too. What was more worrying was that he had Wilf and Wickham in tow on Saturday. They did seem sober though.

Apparently in the paper today Glen Murray, Dwight Gayle, Adlene Guedioura, Barry Bannan, Jonny Williams, Paddy McCarthy and Adrian Mariappa are for sale?

IF true, Murray, Gayle, Jonny and Bannan will be a big loss. You could maybe lose Bannan because we have players that are ahead of him?

What I find disappointed is that I would have liked to see Jonny and Bannan played more and see how they get on. Murray would be a big loss and so would Gayle.

Fraizer Campbell MUST go! He's not a bad lad, but he doesn't do it for me.

Seems like an obvious list of players likely to go. I'd keep Murray as back-up but he probably wants game time so he'll want to leave. The rest aren't really going to play.

Gayle doesn't fit our system and is pretty rubbish with his back to goal but can and will score for someone.

If we can get some money for them and give McCarthy away then we can invest in a centre back.

As for the Chamakh debate, I'm a big fan of his and see him playing a part this season. His link up play with Cabaye could be excellent.

He's a practising Muslim and was teetotal when he joined Arsenal. Do you know for a fact that he was smashed?

Pardew always raves about him. He won't be going anywhere.

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

'Apparently in the paper today' says all that needs to be said. I once read in a paper that Elvis was alive and living on the moon in a B52 bomber!

Yeah, but that was true right?

Chamakh = Arrogant, okay I can digest that.

Smashed twice in last month = hard to believe.

I too thought he was a Muslim who avoided alcohol.

That post has 'troll' all over it. Prove me wrong leave him alone.

Chamakh is def staying, as a prev poster typed....Pardew is always 'biggin' him up, Pardew likes the silky smooth players like Puncheon, cabaye and chamakh. I wouldnt be suprised to see more of these types of players join us if we carry on the way we're going.

I'm no troll, I've posted on these boards sporadically for years.

I never questioned his footballing abilities and like I said he's always impressed me on the pitch.

I know when someone's had a skinful and he had as was obvious from his behaviour inside and outside the club (Cirque, Ganton Street).

I saw him a month or so ago at the same venue and didn't post anything as what he does is his own business. But like I said seeing Wilf and Wickham out with him was a bit of a worry as although he maybe able to handle it, it's not a good example to the younger pros. Albeit - as I said in my post - they seemed sober.

For the record Wilf seemed like a nice kid but Wickham not so much.

If Murray was going, he wouldn't be playing, too much of a risk of injury. That said, I think all of those others will definitely be available for the right price. I think you can add three or four other players to that list.

None of them would be a huge disaster for the club to lose. Williams would be a shame, but not a loss.

Pardew's clearout? He been at the laxatives again? Seriously though I don't think Murray or Gayle will go (maybe the latter on loan), but Murray and Gayle still have a part to play in a long season with many games.

How sure are you that is was Chamakh?

Because a month or so ago was Ramadam. Not only is Chamakh a practising Muslim but he also fasts during Ramadam, except for match days and the day before, which he'll make up fasting at the end of Ramadam.

Wickham wasn't with us a month or so ago?
