Bert has access to a secret library full of books which contain the truth. The rest of us are stuck being drip-fed lies from the media which we swallow without questioning.
...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread... |

Well where to start! The guys as marxist as they come. Anyone see him on the Andrew Marr show on Sunday? I was listening to BBC Radio 5live this morning on the way to work and apparently even Tories are signing upto the Labour party and putting in a vote for him in the leadership race, along with hard line crazy leftists. Would be hilarious if he won the leadership contest. Labour would be even more unelectable, which serves them right after what they've done to this country.
How will he make labour more unelectable? I'm genuinely interested in what you think about 70% of the public agreeing with rail nationalisation. What are your concerns about Corbyn's plans for a national bank? Do you not agree with investment for growth? 1) Nationalising the railways? That didn't work 2) He wants to return to the politics of the eighties 3) He's another union stooge 4) Has utter contempt for the middle class, which makes up a big swave of the population. 5) He won't deny that he's a marxist and has the support of extreme left factions, need I say more. Edited by fed up eagle (27 Jul 2015 5.33pm)
2) "He wants to return to the politics of the eighties" - this is just a very tired old cliche 3) "He's another union stooge" - another tired old cliche. 4) "Has utter contempt for the middle class, which makes up a big swave of the population" - this is not based on anything he actually says. He does want to tax the very wealthy in a more equitable way to redistribute wealth. But they will still be well off. 5) "He won't deny that he's a marxist and has the support of extreme left factions, need I say more" - The Telegraph article is an embarrassment for anyone who questions what they read or isn't a full on Tory just waiting to grab hold of any bunch of tired old cliches. Neo-libralism was new and shiny in the 80s but it doesn't work for enough people. It works for a few people amazingly well and they are getting richer and richer and richer, but the wealth is being sucked up and not trickling down. Its time there was a political party to properly challenge it. Why not look at his policies. If you don't like them argue against them. That's fair enough. But why just regurgitate tired old cliches that solidified in your head as a result of reading a bias newspaper over an over again? Its as if you repeat them without even thinking anymore.
Are you disagreeing with what Bert says other than the fed s***e by newspaper osmosis?

Even as a Marxist, I'd be one to put the idea that Marxism has an element of the conspiracy theorist about it. That said, I quite like the idea of a Labour leader who doesn't sound like he's one of the more liberal members of the Conservative party. Then again, I think being right is more important than winning.

Quote Bert the Head at 28 Jul 2015 11.51pm
1) Nationalising the railways? That didn't work - privatization isn't working. We are paying more to subsidize a railway that gives out a dividend to share holders for investing in something that doesn't work. Not really Hayek more of even more welfare for the rich. Quite right - Systems of public transport should be under the provision of the state, not run for profit organizations. Transport infrastructure locally should ideally be free to use for the public and supported by taxation revenue, allowing the majority to avoid having to pay to go to work. Quote Bert the Head at 28 Jul 2015 11.51pm
2) "He wants to return to the politics of the eighties" - this is just a very tired old cliché I like this, we need this. Politics shouldn't be the lesser of two or three evils, but actually based around ideology and belief, rather than popularism and mass appeal. Quote Bert the Head at 28 Jul 2015 11.51pm
3) "He's another union stooge" - another tired old cliche. Labour was always better when the Unions were directly involved, the distancing between the Unions and Labour Party resulted in the New Labour Party, a movement of Conservativism lite and corporate appeasement. Quote Bert the Head at 28 Jul 2015 11.51pm
4) "Has utter contempt for the middle class, which makes up a big swave of the population" - this is not based on anything he actually says. He does want to tax the very wealthy in a more equitable way to redistribute wealth. But they will still be well off. Everyone should. The middle classes are pitifully dull, and largely boring people, driven by the insecurities and self loathing. They're the only class that actively hates their own class members. Also most people who think they're middle classed, aren't, they're upper working class. A symptom of which is the belief they are middle class. Quote Bert the Head at 28 Jul 2015 11.51pm
5) "He won't deny that he's a marxist and has the support of extreme left factions, need I say more" - its not illegal to be a Marxist but I wouldn't say he is a Marxist, for example he doesn't believe in a revolution of the proletariat. Maybe he has some sympathy with the Marxist diagnoses but not the prescription. Marx was brilliant at the diagnosis. But you are just applying "Marxist" and "extreme left factions" in the tired bogeyman cliche way. He probably less left wing as Ted Heath, who was more left wing than the last labour government. Plus what is wrong with being a Marxist - Has it become a thing now that Politicians who have established ideals and beliefs are somehow unfit for politics. Knee jerk right wingers tend to have settled into an American political rhetoric, where anything that's not the right wing party is by default left wing, and if its more left wing then it must be Socialism or Communism. Sadly, even very intelligent reasonable right wingers fall into this trap of assuming anything to the left of New Labour is far left. Its not, its the Liberal democrats, then the 70s and traditional conservatives, then the old SDLP and Liberals, then the old labour party, and then you getting towards the socialism and communist groups. I swear people would s**t themselves if they actually heard someone who was actually left wing and socialist. Also, its worth noting that Marxist theory, dialectical analysis and discourse theory are practiced by non-Marxists. Its like saying any psychiatrist who talks to their patient is a Freudian.

A rather obvious lie as if you had looked at the Guardian then you would know that they are doing their hardest to convince people not to vote for Corbyn. Funnily enough, the more the mainstream media comes out against him the more popular he gets. The papers are really starting to get scared that he will win...

Well, the out of control spending is a lie and the thing about them being in 'hoc' to the unions is a falsehood. The party of 'mass immigration' is simply an overexageration so 2/3 i'm afraid. I'm sure that no amount of evidence or reasoned arguments could change your narrow-minded, ignorant, nationalistic views. I salute you sir.
