It's all very simple. I like the BBS, all the posters on there are our comrades (see what I am doing there, linking to the lefty leaning idea) but I choose the HOL.

Blowed if I know why in truth, just got used to it I suppose.

If people on here slag it off I would find that massively out of order. But it's fair to say the infrastructure isn't as good as on HOL.

The Judge is quite rightly having his pants pulled down and a non-lubricated dildo shoved up his anus over on that thread.

I will say it again. The BBS is run by a lefty clique of muppets with help from their sad mod enablers.
All those mods should be sacked and replaced by people who's balls have dropped.
I have been banned from that site for speaking my mind and the mods cant handle it becahse it makes the clique wet their knickers. All they have is lies and insults and a huge lack of self awareness. Hilarious.

Thing is, it's always exactly the same people who slag me off. They are allowed to dominate the site because they are members of the mod enabled clique.

They are a bunch of office boy, wouldn't say boo to a goose in real life, types who feel all big and clever behind their keyboards. I am disappointed that my club is supported by such a bunch of idiots but I suppose you get them in every club.

For the record, I think the BBS could be a great site if it was moderated by different people who didn't protect a select group of people and weren't vindictive toward certain posters for their own political and egotistical reasons.

Until things change, I would recommend the HOL to everyone as the better alternative because even in the heat of political debate it remains civilised and sensible. We are all grown ups with opinions and the right to express them, and that's how it should be.

I dont have a problem with the BBS. I dont get involved in the hissy-spats that regularly kick off - but having said that, a forum without a bit of spice would be a dull read.

I'd go to the BBS for transfer gossip first, but I prefer the level of debate in General talk on here (but I dp give up when posts lists a thousand previous quotes of the argument and you spend more time scrolling than reading). Palace-related stuff seems the same on both sites.

The ability to embed photos is a big plus on the BBS and makes for some visually interesting threads - 'Images from your Childhood' being a point in case. If we tried the same here it would have to be titled 'Links to images of your Childhood'.

Shame we cant embed - I'm sure its been asked before and there's a reason.
