I think its because thats how your male friends are around you and if you have a partner like that then it does kinda remind you of a friendship rather than a relationship. But as women are the more complex of creatures, it's nice to be surprised with romantic gestures etc occasionally - spontaneouslly.
And theres also the strong women who dont like it, they think that they're being patronized by having the door opened for them.

Basically it all comes down to the girl/lady in question likes.

What I should have said is that recreational sex is relatively easy to find.... but it does nothing for me. I'd rather get to know someone over a period of time without sex being involved so that, when it does happen, it's much, much more special. As I said, an old fashioned view, I guess, but that's me all over.....

I had a girlfriend I was with for four - and a - half years. It was through this I realised some of my great talents. For a start I realised how clever I could be as through some expert investigation discovered she was seeing someone else in the end. She was going to keep the two on the go for a while until I blew the gaff!

Like most though, I was very low. Thing is, it's the sex you miss the most and although I did get some I found it hard to find someone else as everyone else that was tasty who I liked were already spoken for!

It's never like Friends is it? You go out with a beutiful chick and when you split up you just wonder down the coffe shop and find another one is it?

I found being single the most over rated piece of crap due to this and wanted to get back into a relationship ASAP but I just couldn't find anyone. Then, I started having the time of my life and forgot all about it and met Lisa and now we are hapilly married. Typical, when I met her I wasn't ready but isn't life always that way??

As for my ex. I think I owe her one as she brought out my killer instincts and has made more of a man of me indirectlty. She has made my now relationship more succesful without realising and my career has boomed too. So has my all round social life.

I found her on Friends reunited last year and we did the old email chat thing. I just wanted to flaunt everything in her face. She's gone backwards and is in a relationship with a man who's ugly! (My wife is a babe and millions of times better looking than she could ever be).

I've tried to meet up with her so that I can have a laugh at her expense but she keeps letting me down. (I wonder why).

Although I feel bugger all towards her, I still want revenge for what I was put through a bit like James (jseedy). I dig you man! And Thailand is the greatest country on Earth J, don't let the bitch win - get there!
