I don't think you can compare them at the moment. What you could compare is how good was/is each player whilst they played, or are playing for Palace.

If this is compared Wilf is miles better, some say he went missing at times but where was Jason for the majority of this season it's really only the last 12 games he's done very well.

Wilf plus Murray equalled promotion. If he was not with us last season we would not be in the prem. IMO

Wilf at Palace=Championship ripping teams up like Barnsley and Bristol City.

Puncheon at Palace=Premier League ripping teams up like Everton and Chelsea.

Really Punch ripping teams up !!!!!!! I don't think so he scored couple of goals blimey that's all. How much was Punch bought for ? How much was Wilf sold for. And that's from people in the game that know a lot more about it all than u and me.

Puncheon's skills:
.Scoring Goals
.Composure on the ball

Zaha's skills:
.Pace
.Skills
.Agility
.Tracking back
.Runs
.Dribbling
.Creating somthing out of nothing

For me it is Zaha.

All of which he cant do in the premier league.

Because hes not playing regularly.

Marouanne Fellani was bought for 20 Million and was s*** do you know more then David Moyes. Fact is Wilf will end up like another Scott Sinclair if he was a true professional he would play well because he loves football. I don't buy all this he needs love bollocks he has been given plenty of time to impress at Cardiff and has been s*** most games. But hey ho its not because Wilf is not a premier league player but because he came from our academy and nothing is his fault. Punch has scored 7 goals as an out and out winger and scored a few for Southampton last season and his goals have kept both sides up. But Wilfs better because he got a 15 million transfer and run Barnsley Ragged.

Because a relegated Premier League side don't think he is good enough.

I think many have a rose tinted view of Wilf. He's a great lad and a legend but he's only a quality Championship player not a quality Premiership player. He's proved this himself in his time at Cardiff. Yes he was their best player on the pitch but only because the rest of them were so sh!te. Cardiff are now a Championship team and Wilf will serve them well there when Man Ure release him form his contract.

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Your argument is flawed why bring other players into the discussion? I never said he needs love. You trivialise or ignore what Zaha did for us last season. One way to compared players is to see what their value is in the transfer market. If both came up for sale now I think the asking price would be very similar, and that's after a poor season for Wilf, and as you say Punch has been tearing premiership teams apart. Man you are deluded.

No, it'd be similar because Zaha is 21 and Puncheon is 27. United would argue that he's worth more than he is out on a pitch today because he COULD become a very good premier league winger. That's the thing though, every argument about Zaha on this debate is hypothetical. Puncheon on the other hand, has done it.

I don't really care who people deem to be better. Fact is, by the time Zaha hits his peak at 24/25, Punch will be 30/31 and beginning his descent so they'll never both be at their peak at the same time.

If people want to do it by stats, Zaha got 8 goals and 10 assists in 49 games in the Championship last season, and has 0 goals and 1 assist from 14 in the Premiership. In the Prem this season, Punch has 7 goals and 2 assists from 32 games and last season got 6 goals in 25 games in the Prem.

Forgetting who is better/may be better/may play for England and all the guesswork, hypothetical stuff, based on those numbers I'd want one over the other right now.

I am from London Borough of Southwark just live in East London now. How am I a f***ing troll. Just because I don't share your view and think Puncheons a better player stop being a keyboard hard nut because your starting to piss me off now so just ignore my posts please or better yet just f*** off in general. Puncheon has done it in the prem Wilf has not that's all you need to know. He wont come back anyway. He will be like Scott Sinclair Mark 2 if he does not sort his attitude out.

Fairly delusional, Zaha is by far the better option. One season of not playing more than substitute for massively underperforming teams doesn't make Puncheon better.

Puncheon is good, no mistaking, but he has a terrible history of inconsistency, underperformance and not turning up for games. He's been excellent for us under Pulis, and I think Pulis has brought the best out of him, like Warnock did with Ambrose.
