I think it's important for fans not to lose sight of what we have achieved. Just to be linked with Cisse is a big step up and although he might not seem like an exciting signing, that is an indication of increased expectation rather than reality. Edited by TheJudge (15 May 2015 11.20am)

I'd be excited by signing Cisse. I think we have a decent shot at getting him as well. If Pards can get him playing again he's a top ten finisher.

Cisse is qaulity,would easily get us 15 goals plus,and he'll be made at home by our french speaking players. Big market or London? Hmmm tough choice.

Just read on Sky Sports that Newcastle would listen to offers for Cisse. nothings changed, Newcastle still looking to offload their best players. I think he could do a really good job for us

He's a great player. I'd rather him than Austin even. But like chamakh he spends a bit of time here and there on the injury table.
