He was on a yellow and made a racist and offensive comment which is against the forum rules. It's not rocket science.

I understand why some call for reds and the reasoning to be logged somewhere visible for others like they do on the Northstandshat but I understand why this doesn't happen. An exmod told me that these decisions are discussed amongst staff prior to the card being issued. On top of that as soon as the mod gives their reason for the card being issued then its open to being disagreed with. Aintree over the time he has been here has been very aggressive in several of his posts towards others. There is a reason why a yellow always seemed to find its way next to his name. Whilst I agree that I don't think his post this time was too bad then I think you could almost see it as an accumulation. On top of that as well, several times when I think a poster has been redcarded over a post it turns out that they've actually been sending much harsher private mails at the same time. So because you don't like what he sent in a private message to someone he knows and has been friends with for years he gets red carded. What an absolute joke you are.

His first post in over a year is just after his 'mate' has been carded and he's stuck entirely to this thread complaining about mods? Yeah its Aintree.

The Welsh aren't a race, so it's somewhat impossible to be racist to them maplestone. Nationalist perhaps but with Wales I see it as being pretty much like Yorkshire, just a big county. I mean it wasn't even a united country until we took it over.
I was right upset I tell thee. Yeah but you probably deserved it
And yes, you can be racist to the Welsh I reacted last night because there were several people on multiple threads just having a dig generally at the Welsh, as well as specifically at Cardiff, just to be malicious. And finally, I get really pissed off by people saying that if we are nice to people we are Nigels. In that case for sure I am. When I first starting watching Palace there wasn't fan segregation and it was brilliant. Then the Moan U fans spoiled it for everyone in 1973. From then on the hooligan element took over for a while. But it isn't traditional to have fights between supporters, it was a nasty little blip in our history. I remember standing on the Holmesdale watching a young teenager in front of me having a razor sharp knife held to his throat by a Millwall fan. I also remember a bloke I knew wading into a whole Whitehorse Lane end of Millwall fans on his own (in a clean white jumper, most bizarre). People look back on those days as if they were halcyon, well they weren't. And if anyone implies we should bring them back you can be sure I will react every time. Also I think everyone hates Cardiff should be playing Barry in the welsh league really
I don't think people dislike them because they are Welsh. I don't anyway. Its because they are a Welsh club playing in and enjoying the benefits of an English league.

As I recall he did. And yes, I do think I am a mod. So is everyone. This site is largely self-policing, I am sure if I posted something undeserved Kermit would have come back at me, he has a habit of doing that. Not fair to just leave it all to the Mods, if someone is out of order they should be told before they dig themselves in deeper and get a red card. No idea if Aintree deserved it, I am sure it wasn't just for last night's drunken post. And yes, you can be racist to the Welsh For the record Mapletree, you are not a mod so you really don't need to minimod. We have plenty of mods here, they don't really need your help short of posting on a thread that it needs to be merged (whilst giving the name of the thread it needs to be merged with). Secondly, the Welsh are not a race and therefore you can't be racist to them. You can however, be xenophobic towards them irregardless to what I assume is yet another poorly factchecked Torygraph article.
