Jules isn't the best player we've ever had, he is a lot of peoples (including mine) favourite ever Palace player ever. So i expect you've voted with your heart, over your head on that one. No shame in that though bud.

I'd probably stick a vote in for Lombardo as our best ever. Just oozed class. Probably the only player I'd say was in the 'elite' class of world football, what he was doing playing for us I'll never know.

The best as in the most skilful, natural, impulsive work of footballing art is Ian Wright. No ifs or buts.

The best as in technically gifted, seer of all options and always executor of the best one, and just damned flawless is Kenny Sansom.

Head and shoulders above everyone else both of them.

Bloody hell Kermit I totally agree with you.

In the woods there grew a tree. And a fine fine tree was he.

I just have such fond memories of Kenny Sansom dancing his way out of defence around three players. He was too good for them and everyone else. He was also a Palace product which few of the other nominees are. Gets my vote.

Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial

Huge question, but you have got to consider the level Palace were competing at. To me, that means it has got to be an early 90's player. Wright and Martyn stand out of course but Southgate, Salako, Bright, Thomas and (a heart over head favourite) Eric Young should warrant consideration.

Yes Lombardo was class but we were bottom of the league with no home wins for nine tenths of the season.

For me it's Wright.

Tommy black. WHO? Best 10 game spell you ll ever see

He'll always be one of my favourite players! when I went on my first lads holiday we met some welsh birds and told them we were footballers. I told them I was Tommy Black. Needless to say they fell for it and put out.

Was texting this chick for weeks and carried the lie on. Right up to the point where I said her and her mates could stay at my house for the weekend and that I'd pick them all up from East Croydon station. I realised what a dick I was when they kept calling me as they were at the station waiting for me to pick them up and take them back to my massive house and give them my free tickets for the game at Selhurst.

Whoops!
