In a team that generally dominates play and creates lots of chances then the 'unseen' off the ball work that Glenn does is a rare but very valuable skill that is largely overlooked by most supporters, Ian Rush, Micheal Owen to name but a few possessed these this skill ie the ability to time runs, know what space to fill, anticipate the play..

We were that team last season... This season we are not, every player needs more than there base skill, a forward needs to have speed, chase, hassle, tackle back, create..

Be honest to yourselves, really don't be Glenn Murray blind.... Does he possess all the above ?

Jerome does,

for me the issue was he and Chamkah looked like they had never played together before. (which they haven't).

I think we need to give him a few matches to see if the partership can improve and if not, likely a change needs to be made.

I also think not have Bolasie on the wings played a key role as well. We need to be able to get Bolasie, Ince and Ledley on the field together.

Plus Chamakh and Murray. These 5 definitely offer the best goal threat, with Jerome and Gayle as impact subs?

Puncheon offers a much larger goal threat than Bolasie

But Bolasie is far, far better at beating people and getting in crosses. Swings and roundabouts.

What Palace really need at the mo are players who are going to up the tempo, keep going at the opposition and never giving up. In a way, this was missing on Saturday against manure. Olypiakos did it and took manure apart. Palace could have done that. Even the great £42000 a day Rooney was put out. Lets not worry too much about each player's skill factor, time is running out. Get them all fighting and, skilled or not, get the 'pacifists' in the reserves. Murray is very much a fighter.

My gran is a greater goal threat than Bolaise. Unfortuantely she's a s**t winger, and at 89 no longer capable of beating a man, let alone putting in a cross.

I'm not so sure, Olypiakos are probably a bit better than us, I doubt we'd have gotten out of the champions league group stages.

What dya mean Olympiakos are better than Palace? As if that should have prevented Palace fron getting stuck in. And their loanee from Anusall isn't as good as ours. And if we are (god forbid) not as good as Olymps then more reason for us to be fighting. Get my meaning about the need to have a go tho'

Hahaha burnley I sure would a quality strike I must say, he is one of the best spot kick takers in all divisions IMO.

Saying that, maybe just maybe all other 10 players on the pitch MAY have scored.

FFS looked good today and I hope the fears about him are proved unfounded and he IS the player that a lot doubt about him..

Have a beer on me tonight Burnley..
