As we head into the run-in of some crucial games, I'd really really appreciate if, on the HOL, you could live by the maxim 'if you haven't got anything positive to say, don't say anything'. I'd be very grateful if you could please do this. Many thanks Finchley Eagle

For your first point Adrian, I dont agree. I think if you look back at the games under Pulis we do try and play from the back and the ball is rolled out wherever possible. Man Utd were good at closing this down so was rarer on Saturday. Also, we have both Chamakh and Murray who are very good in the air so it would be foolish not to use that - especially considering a lot of the time they bring the ball down and dont just try and win a header. Secondly, yes it does. If you state that something unwanted will happen you are being negative. It may be your hand on heart belief and fair enough, you may state it in a positive way, but it is still a negative opinion. And my personal view is that the sort of unity and support that was shown on Saturday does not exist when people have no more to say other than 'we're all doomed' as it were. Hence suggesting its better to be positive and if your view is negative then why announce it ? To be proved right if we go down ? To just be different ? To be opposite ? Sure anyone can write whatever they like but I dont see the point of being negative. I genuinely believe it increases our chances of staying up is everyone believes we can. Belief is a very powerful thing and if I was a Palace player and saw and heard what we do as fans then I'd be busting a gut for every second im on the pitch and frankly the team talks write themselves.
I think you may have just metaphorically patted me on the knee there Adrian, but cheers for your opinion on my responses. I cant believe you played the Willo-is-better-than-Hitlers-generals card. Never saw that one coming. Couldn't really see myself in the SS uniform though... Oh and Maxi (hi !) thanks for the chuckle at how completely and utterly the reason for this thread went whooshing over your head...
