The game would have sold out weeks ago ago if there was the demand. As it is there are 300 tickets left with only 48 hours to go. No Palace member nor season ticket holder nor their friends are missing out. So a few man u are scattered around. Unless it was a 100% sell out so what? AS long as they behave. There are some right anal nigels on here. Again. Edited by Kermit8 (20 Feb 2014 1.43pm)
If people were so desperate to watch the Palace (and had the means to do so), they would have bought a ticket by now. Why is it that we've not sold out for a single game this year?
We must have well over 60,000 fans in London alone thinking about how many turned up at Wembley. A lot of those will be the non-committal type who would like to go occasionally I'll bet but without the hurdles. Edited by Kermit8 (20 Feb 2014 3.22pm)

If there are any United fans that have manged to obtain a ticket in the home ends, I hope that we do the right thing and get them ejected from the ground. I was reading on twitter that a few have managed to get tickets in the main stand. Anyone that has bought a ticket for a United supporting fan is a disgrace and should be BANNED for life. You make me sick ! Edited by c_block_shedevil (20 Feb 2014 1.19pm) What's your problem? I enjoy lively contact with the fans of the opposition. I cannot wait for the day when supporter segregation is stopped, just like any other sport. I believe if there was less of an aggressive atmosphere at football grounds more people would be encouraged to attend, clubs would sell more tickets and more income would ensue. Better for my game all round. The thought that some fan believes that I would want to act in an aggressive or childish manner towards them just because they have the audacity to support another team (while putting money into the coffers of my club!) fills me with sadness. I think you want rugby mate. This game will sell out without the need for people giving their tickets away to non-Palace fans so you're suggestion that they are 'just putting money into our coffers' is null and void. No one is suggesting segregation is to stop people kicking off, it's to give our team the backing they deserve by making it a HOME game with HOME fans in the HOME end.
And the reason why is neanderthals like W&B & bubble wrap, the usual 1980s hoolie throwbacks who just can't control their rage.

Is it not possible to buy tickets on the door this season either, even just for category B games? If not, that seems bloody stupid.

Supporting a football team is a strange, illogical cult and people’s behaviour at games is bizarre when you think about it. The things people say and do in a football ground would be completely unacceptable outside of that scenario. If you take all that away though, it becomes just a load of mugs paying through-the-nose to sit in the cold and wet watching 22 mediocre but rich footballers kick a ball around. It’s not the football that keeps people coming back, it’s the tribal mentality. I love it.

Back in the old days if you were an away supporter you went in the away end(thats what away ends are for) and if your a home supporter you went in the home end! I guess however if your a man u supporter living in croydon thats a whole different question! ! I think those in between supporters should go in the in between bit we close off between home and away . Hard core man u fans don't wont plastic supports nor do we want them!! So they can go in the plastic in between part of the stadium! !

He hasnt watched a live Man united game since 2000??! Why cant you give it to a fellow palace fan instead of a plastic United fan?

If your "mate" was that much of a Spurs fan he'd be sitting with the away support instead of piggy backing on you. No, in all honesty I have no problem with respectable away fans sitting with home supporters. But that courtesy does not extend to "fans" of Manchester United.
