Thanks James03 you confirmed everything I knew about him already. I'm aware he considered a good player by many for us. I am just having an opinion and I think he is a less than average player.
To say I don't watch palace play ? Or ever been to see a game makes me laugh. No I don't get to go a lot I'm married and have a young family and live in lymington so getting to games is less than simple. But, that doesn't mean I don't watch every game if its being shown online il watch it and I can see virtually every game Jedi plays in.
You all confirm what I've said when you defend him, he does tackle and work hard I've never once said that he doesn't. If you read the posts properly, I think half of you on here are merely to scared to have an opinion yourself? Agree with everyone else because it's easy or pundit because "they must know " what there talking about. Opinions are what makes forums interesting. If it everybody agreed what would be the point?. To start calling people names because you think your right and there wrong is funny. Once again Jedi is less than average I would drop him in my opinion which I'm allowed by the way !

First of all those that have commented on Jedi's passing in the last few games seem to have forgotten how he came to misplace most of those passes in the first place - he won the ball. Then having given it away in many cases he went and won it back again. He is a stand out player for us and when he makes a mistake it is noticed, disected and everyone says he is having a bad game. At least the last few games, unlike earlier in the season, his losing the ball has not resulted in us conceding every time.

So back to Eagle Welder - you have decided that Ledley is a defensive midfielder - please go tell him that! You also state, in yet another post on your defence of the indefensible, the Jedi is rubbish. Not going through a bad patch, not average, not poor, not giving awqay a few short passes but RUBBISH. Are you having a laugh, really, honestly, you cannot be serious and if you are I repeat you know NOTHING about the game.

Your suggested team would be torn to shreds by leaving out not only Jedi but also KG/any other proper defensive midfield player. Sir, you do not have a clue about football other than through the Ossie Ardilles school of football management perhaps.

I am happy to debate anything with anyone who has a worthy opinion but your opinion is just complete and utter cack. I hope you have a better knowledge of 'welding' than you do about football.

KG ! Don't get me started on another dump player Jedi and KG are actually the two players I would happily let go without a blink

i love it when people post on here/twitter or whereever without actually knowing how the game actually works.

like somebody said...i bet jedi is the 1st name on the teamsheet for pulis.

it frustrates me that his short passing game is usually substandard...but drop him for arlene? youve gotta be kidding me.

As I said that link proves he tackles but doesn't do anything else! I never said he couldn't tackle or didnt try hard. I said for a center midfield player he doesn't offer a lot. He's a professional footballer and I think first and foremost you should be able to pass the football to a team mate without too much concern. He struggles with this simple but effective procedure. I think he's crap you lot don't. End of discussion. Also please leave the name bashing alone have I called any of you guys a tool or morons? For having your opinions? No. Grow up kids. Oooooh an internet hurl

You've tried to defend your opinion several times in this thread, many don't agree with you, I fact I don't think anyone does. Rather than focusing on the two to three misplaced passes per game, which he's always done, look at everything else he does and if you can't see it yourself then look at his stats a little bit further up the thread. If he didn't misplace a couple of passes per game, he wouldn't be playing for us, he'd be playing for a top 6 side.

You've just confirmed, with the above statement, that you don't have the foggiest how football teams work.

My opinion (For what it is worth) is that Jedinak is a vital cog in our wheel.

no. well it is now.
Based on this season's performances, Jedi is essential. Based on just the last 3 games, his place should not be guaranteed.

Jedi is a rock. He was crucial in our promotion matches and he has stepped up to Premiership standard. He does make mistakes with his passing but he is fearless, determined and an inspiration to the team.

Jedi and Wardy and Parr always clap the fans after each game. They have the bond. Jedi and Wardy also have the most tackles and interceptions in the team and are in the Top 10 in the OPTA stats.

Without this effort the team is much poorer.

End of.

If Jedi was injured for the rest of the season we would almost certainly be down. May I suggest the OP enlightens us on what a good DM is supposed to do, review the stats and then tell us how Jedi doesn't fulfil that ?

I'm sure it doesn't count for much but DM was my position and the job was always to do the ugly things that your team appreciate but rarely look good. Sure if you could also play killer passes and score goals that would be amazing but I can't think of a single player that has ever done all those things well.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

Not sure why we are actually taking much notice of Eagle Welder? Obviously attention seeking and knows very little about the team and how it all works.
