Despite being easily one of my favourite palace players of my lifetime and one of the best, how many other players would get booed when they step up to take a penalty? Ben Watson. Still think back to that penalty and find it unbelievable that people booed him as he stepped up to take it. Never heard anything like it!! Never actually hated a palace player. Weve had some tripe over the years. Craig Harrison for me still stands out as one of the worst players ive ever seen. Totally f***in useless. I used to watch him play and think how on earth have you made it!! I suppose for that reason I disliked him at palace.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
