Quite ironic that in a thread about their youth beating ours, chelski sees the fact that Victor Moses now plays for Chelsea as getting one over on us. How many of your own academy graduates play in your first team? Your under 18's sides are comprised nearly entirely of foreign youngsters you've signed for ridiculous amounts of money, most of whom will never make it anywhere near your first team. Ours are all free, local kids, the best of whom will make it to our first team as so many have before them.
1/ It is obviously more difficult to get in to our first team than yours. Although we have had a few starting to forge a good career . Notably Ryan Bertrand 2/ Our U18 sides are comprised of almost total foreigners. Er...... really. Ok lets look at last years FA Youth Cup winning side Jamal Blackman - English - Academy Product
Let's look at your under 18 side that beat us 5-1: Mitchell Beeney - English - Signed from Gillingham. I make that four of your own products, and I'd be very surprised if any of them made it at Chelsea.

What do you think will happen when Mr Abramovich pulls his money? Your stadium isn't big enough, you can't find anywhere to relocate, you'll run out of money, you'll do a Portsmouth, you'll go back to supporting Man Utd etc...
And we made a profit last year!!! Thats without all the money we will have generated form winning the Champions League!!! Are you a Sun reader??? Edited by chelski (13 Feb 2013 2.05pm)

I almost feel sorry for Chelsea fans... (the real ones that is) They finally win the Champions League after how many attempts? Then while finally riding the crest of a wave, they sack their manager. Most fans would protest against the board or the owners, but not Chelsea. The fans are too s*** scared to criticise their owner because the thought of him removing his blank cheque away from their payroll terrifies then as they know they simply wont win anything without it, just like 99% of the other teams in English Football. The data from this poll (December 2012) only really proves it. Chelsea appear to be the only club who seem to think Abramovich is the best owner in the land, 70% gave a positive impression, while six other teams specifically list them as being the worst. They even come second on the worst owners league. It must be horrible to think that one man has an entire football clubs fanbase held financially hostage when that man couldn't care less about the heritage or stability of a team and just wants trophies. Its like he is playing with Chelsea fans by making more unpopular decisions just so he can watch them continue to kiss his backside and then take their frustrations out on others such as the manager, other mens wives, ball boys etc. Sorry state of affairs really.
