in no particular order and mainly based on players I've seen, and still undecided about the keeper,never saw Bason or Hepplelite;

Lacey
Chris Jones
Langley
Aylott
Stan Cummings
Ketterdge
Mahoney
MaCollough
Pennyfather
Fenwick

Only went on to play for England.

so did John Fashanu and Dennis Wise

I think you will be in a minority thinking that FENWICK would get in a worst ever Palace IX.

I bet after maradonna make him look silly in the 86 world cup he smiles to himself when he sees messi doing the same to players now.

tbh Fenwick came out of the game with some credit,Shilts(getting out jumped by a 5 foot 5 man) Reid and Butcher were made to look rather silly.

he waltzed passed reid, butcher AND fenwick,,,,,,,,but to be fair, better players than terry fenwick struggled to contain maradonna in his prime.

Dont know if they would form part of a wprst Palace team, far from it but I would have love to have seen Uphill / Gardner on the same team sheet

That's a superb sh1te XI. I'd pay good money not to watch that lot. Would have to squeeze in David Price instead of Pennyfather though. Guessing you don't mean David Hopkin but Jeff Hopkins.

Yeah, Jeff Hopkin. He scored two brilliant og's one for the 'wall and one for Swindon in the play off semi. Both from 25 yards.

Can someone please name the forward I can't remember the name of? Early 90's don't think he ever scored at home but cored in the FA Cup 3-4 defeat at Paort Vale....I was there but never saw his goal in the fog.

I recall Colin Noades,Ron's Brother, saying they couldn't off load him soon enough, after he had been here for a short while,as it wasn't working.
How true, although to be fair, his record before he arrived did look a little promising.
