Great times with Palace and 'Big Mal': we might not have been the best on the pitch, but Mal held us together as a club and made being a Palace supporter something to relish! God bless.

Way before my time, but I understand the effects he had on Palace. RIP Malcolm Absolutely It was his idea to change our colours to Red & Blue, and the crest and nickname, so we truly are Big Mal's Red & Blue army. Does anyone remember that the players had nicknames on the back's of their shirts. Directly responsible for Venables first break as a manager, when we play truly total football at times People still remember us beating Chelsea at the Bridge in the FA cup!

My best days in supporting Crystal Palace / Eagles for which MA gave us the name. Amazing that he took us down twice and yet it was the best of my supporting days - RIP Big Mal

I can see him now on that first day of the season against Notts Cty.He had a touch line ban on him so wasn't allowed on the bench.
........................Then along came Johnny Byrne! and the rest, as they say, is history..................... |

The lads were having their usual post-match bath when the country's top p orn star joined them. Just by chance there was a NoTW photographer there and guess who was on the front and back pages of the Sunday newspapers the next day? Maybe someone might have a link to it?
