It's only a matter of time for the Cenotaph. Personally I'd have it permanently guarded and I'd close it off to the general public. But this nation, outside of virtue signalling, doesn't respect history and hertiage anymore....only money. Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Jun 2020 5.32pm)

When they responded calmly and said they didn’t disagree she couldn’t find one thing to argue about so resorted to ‘’Not a good way to use your white privilege ladies. Disgusting.’’ You either do what is demanded or you’re a disgrace. Interesting. Neil before them or you're a racist. It's simply violence and vandalism. Racist are generally narcissists looking for an excuse to be cruel to anyone. Racism is just one vehicle they can use to deliver that cruelty.

On the assumption the police joining in with taking a knee was officially sanctioned they must be awaiting the next gay pride march with keen anticipation.

To add to this, I find it a huge worry when the Police have lost control of society and I feel we are currently at some kind of tipping point. Parts of the black community appear to feel that they have Carte Blanche to act however they like now, and I feel that as lung as they attach the BLM tag to it, they have. Last night they assaulted people including police officers, defaced public buildings and more and yet appeared allowed to do so. Whereas you or I only need to go five miles over the speed limit or drive in a bus lane and we are f@cked. I feel worried for society.

Ironically all this behaviour does is make things worse for the black community. If you are an employee or a landlord and you have many people after a job or a house and you see that mob on the street attacking people, spraying paint and throwing stuff, you are going to be even more sceptical about offering It to black person. Publicly you may say all the right stuff, you may in your heart even believe it, however when it comes to actually doing something which may affect you then that’s different. You will observe the number of organisations currently issuing statements of support for the protests. Here is one - just issued - from one of the largest employers in Croydon: 'We stand in solidarity with all black people and support our communities in taking a stand against racism' This is from a national federation, tweeted last night: As a group of individuals with a collective commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion in housing we want to express our solidarity with people in America standing up against racism and injustice. Now what do you think their next move will be? Oh, I know, stop hiring black people... And don't forget that all major employers will have a diversity initiative that is measured very tightly against its targets. The effect of the current protests will be to galvanise diversity projects.
