Dad's Army is a great cast of characters it works perfectly amongst my friends. I can match each of the major characters to one of them me being Captain Mainwaring of course (pompous little man).

Although very dated now, I still found it funny. Maybe that says a lot about me!!

Got to keep the UK economy going, eh ? at any price, or cost ? "The UK is to resume arms sales to Saudi Arabia despite concerns they could be used against civilians in Yemen, in violation of international humanitarian law. Sales were suspended last year after a legal challenge by campaigners. A subsequent review found "isolated incidents" of possible violations but no pattern of non-compliance and "no clear risk" of future serious breaches. The Campaign Against the Arms Trade said it was a "morally bankrupt" move." (BBC website 7/7/20)

May as well fill our coffers as someone elses. Its just..... business.

Leicester Outbreak So we were told by apologists in the MSM that it was difficult to close down the sweatshops who are using slave labour and not social distancing as they just spring up elsewhere in Leicester. Well they are making clothes for someone so why not focus on the buyer and shame them into action. Boohoo's share price has plummeted and in response the company has appointed a barrister to investigate allegations against it suppliers. See wasn't difficult after all now perhaps the police and the local council who have been sitting on this for 3 months will take note. You will never accomplish anything unless you take that first step. Criminal charges should now be brought against the Sweatshop owners. Edited by Badger11 (08 Jul 2020 11.45am)

Exploitation is a disgrace. Serves boohoo right.

Agreed. If the high street retailers do their job properly then the dodgy slave masters fade away as they have no one to buy their product.
