hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

I believe Islam originally had depictions of things but got rid quickly enough. I'm not exactly sure on the why's and wherefores.

No it wasn’t. I suggest you reread the link you posted. They have accepted it was a parody but not that it was intended to be offensive. The some have decided to take offence is another issue. Just another case of bailing out when questions are raised.

You do know that a ton of images of historic figures only bear a scant resemblance to the original. Often they were painted a few hundred years after the fella died. jesus, moses, Alfred the Great, Spartacus, Queen Boudicca,....nobody really knows what they looked like. Hence every image of them is incorrect. ...even a stick-figure matchstick man figure. The offence is in the attempt to represent you-know-who. Not in the accuracy of the image. i always find it curious that the people most quick to diss every other religion are the self same people who go nuts at the drop of a hat. i somehow cannot see the Dalai Lama or even Pope Francis getting violent from a few offensive words (or images). Angry maybe, but not violent. either we respect ALL religions, or none of them. It is hypocrisy to respect some while dissing others. Or worse than hypocrisy, it is an act of War.
