Don't panic lads we have been playing well without Zaha and Olise if he leaves. Look at the tail end of last season.

We have looked good in pre season

The players are leaving as this club shows no ambition. They aint stupid they know Grandad Roy cant inspire them for a whole season so they are jumping ship. I told you lot our chairman knows nothing about football and is more interested in his sun tan and how his barnet looks. If we had appointed a younger manager with fresh ideas and tactics like Brentford did a few years ago with Frank. Fulham done the same with Silva. The players can see we are trying to improve the club. By appointing Roy again the players are thinking oh him again we are going round in circles.

I dont blame them if they all leave blame that poser Parish.

The so called Palace Ultras the HF should grow some balls and organise a protest against the board but they aint got the balls as they are scared of upsetting Parish.

Why don’t you organise something? If you’re lucky your mate will turn up and you can hold hands as you’re marching along.

Evening All,

I am happy to take any flack or abuse you want to throw at me, but believe me you ask anyone at the club they fully expected Zaha to sign a new deal.

It was even being reported in days leading up that Zaha was likely to stay at Palace even the bookies had us as favourites.

Gala came from nowhere in the last 48hrs & have closed the deal.

In regards to Olise this again has come from nowhere. We was all told there was a release clause & it then was removed now it sounds like it hasn’t.

I’m being told £50m, also Olise is said to want the move so looking likely this will go through.

Palace will now push on with signing some replacements.

As I said Franca is a done deal, Gray we are in advanced negotiations & don’t rule out a late move for CHO from Chelsea even though he is in advanced talks with Lazio.

You can blame me all you like but everything I pass on is in good faith.

Bring it on.

Your ok Dazza we know you are only passing on what your source tells you and you make it clear that its what you hear , it the likes of the knob Waterfordpal that lays down the law and aggressively tells everyone that Wilf is waiting till his contract with his agent runs out then will sign a new contract and tell us we are all stupid and relax and we will all see that we dont know what we are talking about i dont like and then says at the end it was given to me freely by a inside source, i dont like , a know nothing wannabe trying to make himself relevant .

How many of Olise, Eze, Guehi, Anderson and Doucoure do people think we’ll lose?
I hope it’s one at most.
In some ways it makes we wistful for the days of warriors like Delaney and Jedi who the big clubs would never cast an eye at and who we knew would be there and could be relied upon.
We’re buying better quality and high potential but there’s something unsatisfying about these players serving an apprenticeship at ‘little’ Palace before moving on quickly after one or two seasons.
I may have to get used of it but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
We may have struck gold with purchases in the past two seasons, but it doesn’t mean we will with replacements for departing players.

Ideally, we are seen as a stepping stone unless by some chance we have enough gems to be a permanent top 8 club. That means we do have to sell players and it will be the ones that have done the best for us that will command the most money: fact of life.
If we are virtually certain to have replacements for either Guehi or Andersen then they would be the best option. Probably, Guehi will have the greatest interest
I would be loath to see an attacking player leave with Zaha gone. Having said that, if Olise has a low release clause compared to value we may be in a hard position and need Man City or PSG to show interest and push Chelsea's offer price up
If teams are offering silly prices for Doucoure then so be it.
Whatever happens, the money has to be reinvested with quality striker and right back (signing both Ward and Clyne was such a dumb move) as well as taking a punt on a younger guy like Franca

Just stop with this nonsense. It’s the same EVERY transfer window. You have absolutely no idea what is going on and neither does anyone you allegedly talk to.

By all means keep getting the latest rumours from social media, only do us a favour and keep them to yourself.

This Zaha nonsense is just another classic dose of b0ll0x to go with your news of the ‘completed signings’ of Rhian Brewster, Saïd Benrahma, Flynn Downes and the announcement of our new manager…Frank Lampard

Up until two summers ago it was impossible to keep count of the posts on here bemoaning the absence of young players in our squad that we could develop and sell.

Well, looks like a great many people got what they wanted. We now have a good few saleable youngsters and, guess what, one by one they'll be sold. Not all at once maybe, but make no mistake, the first sale will open the floodgates because the rest will want to go once they see a colleague doing so.

I get the argument that we couldn't keep on getting by with cheaper veterans, but the 'buy young, develop, sell, repeat' model is fraught with risk too. There is no guarantee that we will be able to replace the players, only that we will be rolling the dice more frequently in coming years as we have less stability and more turnover.

I hate the idea that after a decade in the Premier League and over a billion pounds we're no more than scouts for clubs with rich owners.
Stuff the self-styled Best League in the World where finishing 10th rather than 11th or 12th is the height of our ambition.
