Do you not understand that it's Parish's 18% that he wants to hang on to that is stopping any take-over as suitable billionaires don't want minority shareholders involved especially when they are probably insisting on running the club as well

Allegedly, money talks, if the right offer was made a sale would go through. If 51% of the club was sold, Parish wouldn’t be in control. It’s down to the Americans and other smaller investors to find that buyer.

What makes this even more unbearable is that Brighton are breaking their transfer records and even look set to sign yet another player that many of us would probably have liked at Palace in Mooy. You also have to wonder if our two new midfielders will result in Ridewald or possibly even Kouyate leaving (the latter's agent was rumoured to be angling for a move earlier this summer) as surely we now have too many central midfielders?

While I'm not unhappy with the most recent three signings I am amazed that we still haven't signed a striker or a right-back. Still time though, so I cross my fingers and pray to the God of Premier League Transfers.

I believe that Parish said it would be more difficult to find buyers if Zaha was sold.

That sounds like an excuse to me.

If Zaha is sold and replaced by one or more quality players and we started winning games it shouldn't affect the likely saleability of the club at all.

I'm sure that the major obstacle to selling the club is Parish's desire to hang onto his shares and to continue to run the club

Anyone else getting worried that its nearly midday and it doesnt seem like we are even being linked to any RB's?

Worrying times ahead for Palace when we have Joel Ward and Danny Simpson fighting for the RB space!

I think everybody is worried on several bases.

Not really religious but today is one for prayer to who or whatever you put some faith in!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

and Martin Kelly

on a more serious note, if things stay the way they are, we will have spent little over 10% of the AWB money on transfers, maybe closer to 15% if you put in the agent fees etc. The Camarasa deal doesn't seem to have an obligation to buy (very happy to be proven wrong), and I can see us walking away even if he plays well this season in case we decide we can get another player for less than 13-14M next summer. This is the sort of business Parish likes. If Wilf leaves at 4.55, this is the season Schulpp turns into a 10-goal, 12-assist winger . (Don't) watch this space.

How long ago did we sell Bissaka cheaply? No bloody replacement!!!! Not even linked with anyone now.

We have no decent striker and the one we are linked with and only for £15mill it's only if Zaha leaves.

I knew we were a shambles but this is beyond a joke now.
Wish we could go down and start again with new players and owners. This is awful. So many seasons on the Prem and the owners have learnt NOTHING.
