Just out of interest, why? He's managed at 2 teams bigger than Bournemouth in both the championship and premier league and on neither occasion did what Eddie Howe is doing at Bournemouth. Totally incorrect - check your facts - Swansea finished 8th after a full season with Monk.

Football isn't black and white and I stand 100% by the statement that he hasn't done what Eddie Howe has done at Bournemouth. Eddie Howe has built something that is quite brilliant at Bournemouth in my opinion, from pretty much nowhere. Monk took an already very well respected team at the time to 8th (which is good) but he inherited a lot more and then was dog s*** the season after. People keep saying that Leeds aren't anything special but they're a fairly big club and have some very good young players and he hasn't done that amazingly there either. He's no Eddie Howe at all.

However, despite Pellegrino showing his quality at the La Liga side this season, it looks as though he won’t be there in the new campaign as he seeks pastures new this summer. Gonzalo Arroyo Moreno/Getty Images SportGonzalo Arroyo Moreno/Getty Images Sport It’s claimed by the report that fellow Premier League side Watford are keen on appointing Pellegrino this summer as they too look to find a replacement for their departed manager Walter Mazzarri. The 45-year-old is sure to be a man in demand this summer and it would certainly take some persuading for Palace to lure him to Selhurst Park as they look to build ahead of the coming season. Given the fact that his names Pellegrini, I'd strongly suggest that's bulls*** of the highest order.

Ranieri, you must be joking. He kept the style of play created under Pearson and won the 5000/1 pot. Then threw money out of window and tried to change playing pattern. Result? Most of the newcomers not good enough, the club heading for relegation till they went back to their winning formula again. Foreigner OK, but please no Mr Tinkelman. Not sure about high-so manager like Mancini either....

Debacle? Monk hugely improved Leeds and the Leeds fans are very happy with him (check Twitter). They went from a bottom half championship team to a team that challenged for promotion this year, although they did fall away at the end.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
