He looked good when he first appeared on the scene IMO but then seemed to let it all go to his head and got too big for his boots around the time of the 25 mill ish move to Spurs that never happened. It's gone downhill for him from there on from what I can see. In todays market 7mill is good value all be it a gamble. Would have to trust those who talk to him etc to ascertain if he is now somewhat more humble and has a desire to work hard to fulfil the potential he once had. One of those we could get an absolute bargain or be completely robbed and left with a dead-weight.

Please no after his sulk at WBA he has done nothing at Stoke to indicate that he is over his problems and is banging them in for fun. I just hope this is he agent sending up a balloon.
